The signal conversion method includes receiving an input signal and a reflection coefficient of a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) according to a sample time, selecting an optimized reflection coefficient of the RIS corresponding to the sample time, and generating the modulation signal by applying the optimized reflection coefficient of the RIS to the input signal.

Abstract: Disclosed is a spiking neural network circuit, which includes an axon circuit that generates first and second input spike signals, a synapse circuit that generates a first current based on the first input spike signal and a weight and generates a second current based on the second input spike signal and the weight, a capacitor that forms a first membrane voltage based on the first current, and a neuron circuit including a comparator and that resets the first membrane voltage, and after the capacitor further forms a second membrane voltage based on the second current, and the comparator includes a first input terminal and a second input terminal, receives the first membrane voltage through the first input terminal and a reference voltage through the second input terminal, generates a first spike signal based on a first comparison operation of the first membrane voltage and the reference voltage.

Abstract: A method of equalization for high-speed processing and an equalizer thereof are proposed. The method of equalization includes determining a filter coefficient applied to a transmitter equalizer provided with a 2-tap precoder according to an approximate channel response characteristic, generating a pre-equalization signal by removing precursor ISI of a transmission feedback signal by the precoder to which the filter coefficient is applied, so as to output the pre-equalization signal as a transmitting signal, and receiving a transmission signal and generating an equalization signal by removing postcursor ISI of the received transmission signal by a receiver equalizer provided with a feedback filter having auxiliary coefficients for compensating for a difference between an overall channel response of the transmission signal and a channel response based on the precoder.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for focusing radio wave energy are disclosed. According to an embodiment of a present disclosure, a method for focusing radio wave energy includes obtaining one or more internal tomographic images of a subject. The method also includes converting the one or more internal tomographic images into one or more numerical models. The method also includes calculating one or more first focusing parameters. The method also includes obtaining an image of the subject by monitoring the subject. The method also includes determining whether a second focusing parameter exists among the one or more first focusing parameters. The method also includes determining a final focusing parameter. The method also includes irradiating a lesion existing inside the subject with the radio wave energy using the final focusing parameter.
