Abstract:
A method for consulting a voice message received and a method for providing a compounded voice message. The compounded voice message is composed of at least one first and one second voice component and is associated with a group of items of information relating to the voice components. The method for consultation includes reading at least one voice component of the voice message, detecting at least one user interaction concomitant upon the reading of the at least one voice component, sending at least one signal relating to the interaction detected, and receiving a command of an action to be performed relating to a voice component read from the voice message and to at least one item of information of the group of items of information associated with the voice message. Also provided is a device implementing the method for consulting a compounded voice message.
Abstract:
A token of delegation from a first signatory to a second signatory is generated and the delegation token is associated with a document signed electronically by means of a cryptographic key of the second signatory. The delegation token contains delegation data signed electronically for the first signatory, in particular an identifier of the second signatory. It is generated by a server in response to a request relating to the signing of the document, sent by the second signatory.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a control scheme for wireless communications networks, including stations communicating with mobiles in downlink mode. The network includes an elementary load calculator designed to compute the load induced by a given mobile on a server station. The elementary load calculator includes: a first function (PA1) designed to compute a first elementary quantity taking into account the attenuation between the mobile and each nearby station (Lv,mu) and the limit on the total power emitted by each nearby station, a second function (PA2) designed to compute a second elementary quantity taking into account the requirements of the mobile vis-a-vis its station (nullmu) and the attenuation between the mobile and its station (Lu,mu), the elementary load calculator being capable of computing the product of the first elementary quantity by the second elementary quantity, which gives an elementary product representing the load induced by the mobile (EDPAPmu).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for processing packets of flows on a network link, the device including scheduling means for scheduling packets in a queue in accordance with a fair queuing with priority algorithm.
Abstract:
This method of automatic processing of a speech signal comprises: a step of determination of a sequence (H1N) of probability models corresponding to a given text (TXT); a step of determination of a sequence (O1T) of acoustic strings corresponding to the diction of the said given text (TXT); a step of alignment between the said sequence (O1T) of acoustic strings and the said sequence (H1N) of models (Hn); and a step of determination of a confidence index (In) of acoustic alignment for each association between a model (Hn) and an acoustic segment. It is characterised in that each step (80) of determination of an alignment confidence index (In-) is carried out at least from a combination of the model probability (Pm), a priori model probabilities (P(nulli)) and the average duration of occupancy of the models ({overscore (d)}(qij)).
Abstract:
A technique for the allocation and pricing of a resource among n buying agents during an auction bid. A bid sent by each buying agent in the form of a resource demand function si(p) is received, and a datum corresponding to the equilibrium price p* is calculated from the sum S of the n demand functions si(p), by means of the relation: S(p*)nullQ. All of the bids received during a predetermined period corresponding to a round of bidding are processed in order to determine the quantity of a resource to be allocated to each buying agent. This is followed by the calculation of the data corresponding to the quantity ai to be allocated for this equilibrium price p* to each buying agent i based on its demand function si such that ainullsi(p*). The management system utilizes the calculated data to allocate the corresponding quantities of the resource, and this data is stored in order to calculate the price to be billed to each buying agent.
Abstract:
The voice quality of telephone calls is evaluated. A first connection is established between a computerized apparatus and a person acting as a first experimenter, and a second connection is established between the platform and a second experimenter. The first and second connections are interconnected by the computerized apparatus to establish a call between the two experimenters and enable them to converse, the apparatus being cut into the call in order to acquire data about the call. The experimenters' opinions are solicited concerning their perceptions of the quality level they observe during their conversation. The apparatus evaluates consistency of the data collected with the nominal experimental conditions and the nominal quality level associated with the current test. Then, a determination is made as to how the current test is to be carried out as a function of a test plan and of the result of the evaluation. The test plan is set up by specifying nominal conditions for the experiment and nominal quality levels for carrying out the tests, and in collecting data during the tests.
