    Abstract: A method for operating a low-mobility wireless device in a cellular network, wherein the low-mobility wireless device operates with an active base node, and the low-mobility wireless device operates in a first mode, in which measurements of transmissions of base nodes are diminished. When the cellular network is enhanced by a new base node, the active base node transmits a first indication at least to the low-mobility wireless device. The low-mobility wireless device, in response to the reception of the first indication, switches to a second mode of operation, comprising execution of at least one measurement of transmissions of base nodes, and transmits at least one measurement report to the then-active base node. The active base node, upon reception of a measurement report, updates neighbour relation data relating to the base node identified by a base node reference with information obtained from the received measurement report.

    Abstract: A wireless communication device in a cellular network, comprising a plurality of cells, each having a base node, camps on an active cell, which is part of one of two or more radio access networks of the cellular network. The cellular network further comprises at least one device domain, said wireless communication device being assigned to said device domain. The wireless communication device determines measurements of received signal quality of the base node of a cell, and submits to the base node of the active cell said measurements and a request for service. The cellular network sends the wireless communication device an instruction relating to the use of at least one of said radio access networks, based on: the device domain the wireless communication device is assigned to, and the received measurements. The wireless communication device selects a cell for the requested service, based on the instruction.

    Abstract: In a method for downloading subscription information to an identification unit connected to a wireless communication device operating within a cellular network, which includes at least one packet gateway node and a remote provisioning server being connected to it, the wireless communication device operates in a mode with limited access to the remote provisioning server.     Abstract: A base station in a cellular radio network and user equipment assigned to a cell are linked by an air interface for communication on a respective communication channel in a communication band. The same communication band is common to at least one of the cells and to the user equipment on the respective communication channel of a cell. A jamming transmitter is detected by decoding a cell, by way of successful reading of control information of the cell, detecting a wideband power parameter representative of the communication band, and detecting a channel power parameter representative for a part of the communication band that is a communication channel. A narrowband jamming transmitter is indicated in the case that decoding of the cell failed, the wideband power parameter is not above a first threshold, and the channel power parameter is above a second threshold.

    Abstract: An application device exchanges application data via a cellular radio communication network with an application server. The application device has a memory providing write access for a control entity associated with the network. The application device receives an information element from a network management node operated by the control entity. The information element is indicative of regulation information that defines at least one time span or point in time that can be used for transmission of application exchange data between the application device and the application server. The application device receives an instruction from the network management node to store the regulation information in the device memory, and stores the regulation information.
