Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) resources and using beams are disclosed herein. In an example, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a broadcast message or a radio resource control message from base station that includes correspondence information regarding the plurality of beam reference signals, wherein the correspondence information designates at least one set of PRACH resources for each of the plurality of beam reference signals. In addition, the WTRU may measure a plurality of beam reference signals transmitted from a base station. Further, the WTRU may select a beam reference signal from among the plurality of measured beam reference signals. The WTRU may determine a set of PRACH resources designated for the selected beam reference signal based on the received correspondence information. Moreover, the WTRU may transmit a PRACH signal using at least one PRACH resource of the determined set of PRACH resources.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive one or more physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions and each PDSCH transmission may be associated with downlink control information (DCI) and a group of PDSCH transmissions. Further, the WTRU may determine a first group or a second group based on an indication received in DCI associated with at least one of the PDSCH transmissions. Then, the WTRU may generate hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) feedback for data received in one or more PDSCH transmissions associated with the determined group. Moreover, the WTRU may transmit the HARQ-ACK feedback. In an example, the DCI which includes the indication may schedule a plurality of PDSCH transmissions included in the determined group. In another example, the DCI which includes the indication may further include a first codepoint mapped to the first group or a second codepoint mapped to the second group.

Abstract: Beam management may be coordinated by a centralized coordinating entity, e.g., by a gNB, that configures and schedules Channel State Information Reference Signal, CSI-RS, transmissions for beam measurement and reporting. This centralized coordinating entity may not be available for Wireless Transmit-Receive Units, WTRUs, in a SideLink, SL, mode of operation, where resource allocation is performed by WTRUs in a distributed manner. WTRU procedures for establishing and updating an SL TCI state association are disclosed, including determining a spatial domain filter to use for an SL transmission. In these WTRU procedures, a WTRU may perform CSI-RS transmissions in an SL slot, e.g., multiplexed with a PSCCH/PSSCH transmission. The WTRU may receive, in reply, CSI reporting information comprising a spatial domain filter. For further SL TB transmissions for the SL, the WTRU may use the spatial domain filter.

Abstract: Cellular devices are becoming more and more powerful, and may host a number of different non-cellular capabilities, such as cameras, accelerometers, and sensors. Today, these capabilities are used mainly to provide some service to the device or the device owner. Disclosed herein are methods and systems for enabling devices to register their device capabilities with a cellular network, providing a mechanism for Application Servers to discover non-cellular capabilities of the devices, providing a mechanism to have the Application Servers configure these non-cellular capabilities of the devices, and preparing the device and the network for cellular traffic generated as a result of the Application Server using these non-cellular capabilities.

Access procedures may be random access procedures, and may include indication via R.AR messaging. Access procedures may be triggered by a radio access point message, such as a PDCCH order or a handover request.

In examples, the Tx WTRU may increase the first number of candidate resources associated with the first resource selection window to a second number of candidate resources associated with the first resource selection window.

Abstract: A wireless transmit-receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to perform one or more actions. The WTRU may receive positioning configuration information. The positioning configuration information may include an indication of one or more positioning delegation candidates for the WTRU and an indication of one or more conditions for starting or stopping positioning delegation. The WTRU may detect that a condition for starting positioning delegation has been satisfied for at least one of the positioning delegation candidates. The WTRU may send an indication to a network device that the WTRU is using at least one positioning delegation candidate which has satisfied conditions. The WTRU may detect that a condition for stopping positioning delegation has been satisfied for at least one positioning delegation candidate. The WTRU may send an indication to the network device that the WTRU has stopped using at least one positioning delegation candidate for positioning.
