A bag-making packaging machine includes a bag-producing part, a bag receiving part, and a bottom forming part. The bag-producing part is configured and arranged to transversely seal a tubular packaging material to produce a bag having a top seal part and a bottom seal part formed above and below a product-enclosing main body of the bag. The bag receiving part is configured and arranged to receive and hold the bottom seal part and a part of the main body of the bag, which has been dropped from the bag-producing part. The bottom-forming part is configured and arranged to deform the bag in contact with the bag receiving part to form a bottom portion of the bag into a prescribed shape.

[Problem to be Solved]To provide a display strip capable of attaching by heat sealing bags comprising a biaxial oriented film and having no low-melting-point layer on the outer surface of the bag.[Solution]In the display strip comprising a substrate layer and a sealant layer, problems can be solved by using the display strip characterized in that the sealant layer contains an acid-modified olefin resin. In particular, it is more preferable that the sealant layer contains (a) an acid-modified olefin resin, (b) a non-acid-modified olefin resin and (c) an adhesion-imparting agent.

A placing apparatus having first and second rear end holding members is provided between a loading apparatus that loads items in an upright position and a conveyance apparatus downstream. These rear end holding members move making a box motion when seen from the side. As a result, while the first rear end holding member holds the rearmost end of a group of items, the second rear end holding member stands by to receive a new item. The invention provides a conveyance apparatus and a boxing apparatus comprising the same that have widespread applicabiilty. The conveyance apparatus and boxing apparatus while achieving high-speed processing, are able to convey items of varying thickness and grouped in varying numbers in a stable manner and maintained in a prescribed position.

A noise canceling apparatus (1) comprises an amplifier (10) for amplifying a measured signal (ms) outputted from a measuring device (3), an analog filter (11), an ADC (12), a digital filter (14), a coefficient control section (13), and a data input section (15). The digital filter (14) is a notch filter for attenuating a frequency component of a quantitative signal D(n) outputted from the ADC (12) at a plurality of notches (stop bands). A transfer function of the digital filter (14) is expressed by the product of a plurality of factors each having a root that corresponds to each one of the plurality of notches. The coefficient control section (13) changes a frequency component of a root corresponding to a notch selected from the plurality of notches, and thereafter, expands in a polynomial the transfer function of the reconstructed digital filter (14). On the basis of the polynomial thereby obtained, a new series of filter coefficients is calculated. A filter characteristic is controlled in such a manner that it conforms to a frequency variation of a fixed-period vibration noise, whereby the fixed-period vibration noise that varies in frequency is attenuated with a high degree of precision.

The bag-manufacturing and packaging machine transverse sealing mechanism is for a bag-manufacturing and packaging machine that makes bags by sealing a tubular packaging material longitudinally and transversely while also filling the bags with items to be packaged. The transverse sealing mechanism functions to thermally seal the packaging material in a transverse direction, which is perpendicular to the direction in which the packaging material is conveyed. The transverse sealing mechanism is equipped with a plurality of sealing jaws and an adjusting part. The plurality of sealing jaws rotate about a rotational axis and execute thermal sealing by making contact with the tubular packaging material. The adjusting part adjusts a relative distance between the sealing jaws. The bag-manufacturing and packaging machine transverse sealing mechanism readily accommodates different bag sizes.

A conveyance apparatus of the present invention holds and conveys a group of items, and includes conveyors and driving devices. The conveyors include first and second conveyance belts, items-group holders, and detaching/attaching devices. The first and second conveyance belts operate around a circulating path. The detaching/attaching devices support the items-group holders, which include a plurality of partition members that partitions and holds the group of items. The plurality of partition members is connected to one another. The detaching/attaching devices render the items-group holders detachable from and attachable to the first and second conveyor belts. In this manner, replacement of the plurality of partition members can be performed easily and quickly.

An apparatus and method for the reorientation of articles. According to one aspect of the invention, a conveyor having a support surface for an article to be reoriented displaces the support surface in a conveying direction. The article being conveyed by displacement of the support surface contacts an abutment, adjacent to the support surface, having an elongate abutment surface extending at an angle to the conveying direction. Continued displacement of the support surface turns the article as it slides in contact with the abutment surface. An orienting gate assembly, located downstream of the abutment surface in the conveying direction, has a pair of gates that are displaceable between two configurations. In a closed configuration, the gates define a channel that narrows in the conveying direction to trap the article. In an open configuration, the channel is widened at the downstream end to release the trapped article.

The longitudinal-type bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus is an apparatus for packaging batches of articles being dropped. The longitudinal-type bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus includes a bag manufacturing and packaging unit, a film supply unit, photoelectric sensors and a controller. The photoelectric sensors detect a bottom end and a top end of batches of articles being dropped. The controller obtains a gap distance based on detected results detected by the photoelectric sensors. The gap distance is a distance between the top end of a preceding batch and the bottom end of a subsequent batch. Then, the controller compares the obtained gap distance with a predetermined value to automatically adjust the cycle time or to reduce the processing speed of the weighing unit. The longitudinal-type bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus of the present invention provides a bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus that automatically avoids situations in which articles are caught in the sealing portion.

The packaging system is provided with an auxiliary device 205 operating on the falling route A at predetermined timing and facilitating or improving the flow of the articles M, determination unit 21a determining whether a state of the flow of the articles M on the falling route A is normal or abnormal, and a change unit 21b changing the operating timing of the auxiliary device 205 according to the state of the flow of the articles M determined by the determination unit 21a. With this configuration, the state of the flow of the articles M is improved and the high productivity (yield) and/or operativity of the packaging system can be maintained.
