At least one pocket is defined generally by a space between the inner and outer layers. The at least one pocket is configured to receive at least one liquid-absorbent insert therein. The diaper also includes at least one slit in the inner layer that provides access into the space between the inner and outer layers defining the at least one pocket. At least one flap is provided that is positionable in an open configuration in which the at least one slit is exposed and allows access into the at least one pocket, and a closed configuration in which the at least one flap substantially covers the at least one slit.
Abstract:
A method and system for targeted advertising in a communication system for connecting voice calls is provided. In accordance one embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a method for targeted advertising in a communication system for connecting a voice call, the method comprising: receiving a request to connect a voice call between a first communication device and a second communication device identified by a contact identifier; establishing a voice connection between the first communication device and a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) gateway; transmitting a first audio advertisement over the voice connection between the first communication device and the VoIP gateway to be played on the first communication device; establishing a voice connection between the second communication device and the VoIP gateway; and connecting the voice call between the first communication device and the second communication device.
Abstract:
Several of the embodiments disclosed herein relate to accessing and tracking real-time data concerning company representative performance, proficiency, training, scheduling, current work flow, and estimated work flow. Moreover, many of the improvements in contact handling systems disclosed herein automatically provide training, work, and incentives to company representatives to improve performance, proficiency, efficiency, effectiveness, automate scheduling, and automated work flow. More specifically, a method for assigning work to one or more company representatives is disclosed. The method includes assigning a proficiency associated with a training session to the company representative as soon as the training session is completed by a company representative. The method further includes associating the proficiency with increased work capability as soon as the proficiency associated with the training session is assigned to the company representative. As a result of the teachings disclosed herein, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and revenue may be improved in the contact handling industry.
Abstract:
A seismic streamer includes a jacket covering an exterior of the streamer. At least one strength member extends along the length of the streamer and is disposed inside the jacket. At least one seismic sensor is disposed in a sensor spacer affixed to the at least one strength member. An encapsulant is disposed between the sensor and the sensor spacer. The encapsulant is a substantially solid material that is soluble upon contact with a void filling material. A void filling material is disposed in the interior of the jacket and fills substantially all void space therein. The void filling material is introduced to the interior of the jacket in liquid form and undergoing state change to substantially solid thereafter.
Abstract:
An edge clock model is used to capture states from a logic-level simulation of a circuit description. The states are captured at clock edges, or transitions, according to an edge clock model based on a clock specification for the circuit description. The captured states and associated attributes are used in formal verification of the circuit description. This approach helps to reduce or eliminate inaccuracies and other issues with other clock models such as a phase clock model. In one embodiment, a phase clock model can be used in addition to the edge clock model. In another embodiment, the edge clock states can be used to generate states according to different clock models, such as the phase clock model.
Abstract:
A method of securing elongated objects, such as weights or floats to a floating cover. A first step involves providing a sheet form substrate. A second step involves forming elongated retention pockets on the substrate. A third step involves inserting elongated objects into the elongated retention pockets. This method allows thinner lower cost substrates to be used, while still facilitating secure attachment of weights or floats.

Abstract:
An optical waveguide environmental sensor is provided that is capable of detecting a target gas or liquid in the ambient environment in an advantageously short period of time. The waveguide is preferably in the form of an optical fiber having a cladding that contains a photonic band gap structure which in turn envelopes a light conducting, hollow core portion. The cladding further includes at least one elongated side opening that preferably extends the entire length of the fiber and exposes said hollow core portion to the ambient environment, which provides broad and nearly immediate access of the core portion to gases and liquids in the ambient environment, thereby minimizing sensor response time. The ambient gases or liquids filling the hollow core portion and elongated opening function as a ridge and slab, respectively, of an optical ridge waveguide that effectively supports at least one bound optical mode.
Abstract:
The present invention creates a SOAP message without using DOM by generating a body part by sequentially performing such a process of a message as encryption or signing for each piece of the message, generating a header part by using information acquired during the process, and by combining the body part and the header part. The present invention also breaks a SOAP message without using DOM by acquiring header information with parsing a received SOAP message and sequentially performing decode or verification of a signature of a body part according to the header information.
