Abstract:
Optical semiconductor package and its method of fabrication, which package comprises a semiconductor component (6), a rear face of which is attached to a front face of a mounting and electrical connection support (2) and a front face of which comprises an optical sensor (9), means (11) for electrically connecting the semiconductor component to the support, a transparent chip (12) placed in front of the semiconductor component, which lies at least in front of the optical sensor, and encapsulation means (21) comprising an encapsulation material which envelopes, in front of the support, the periphery of the semiconductor component and of the chip, without covering at least the central part of the front face of this chip.
Abstract:
A stowable vehicle seat assembly for use in a vehicle cabin having a cabin floor. The seat assembly includes a seat cushion member having downwardly extending front and rear legs. A mounting means is positioned on the front and rear legs for releasable engagement with the cabin floor. A control rod system is pivotably interconnected between the seat cushion member and the cabin floor, and is adapted to enable selective pivoting of said seat cushion member between a deployed design configuration and a raised stowed configuration. In the deployed design configuration, the mounting means is in engagement with the cabin floor as aforesaid, and the seat cushion member has a substantially horizontal orientation. The raised stowed configuration is located rearwardly of the deployed design configuration, whereat the mounting means is released from engagement with the cabin floor, with the seat cushion member has a substantially vertical orientation.
Abstract:
A hybrid vehicle 10 which includes an assembly 13, a low voltage battery 14, and a high voltage battery 12. Particularly, the assembly 13 allows the on board low voltage battery 14 or another low voltage donor battery to recharge the high voltage battery 12 in an efficient manner while concomitantly reducing the likelihood that the high voltage battery 12 will be unnecessarily or inadvertently recharged while concomitantly ascertaining the existence of a fault within the high voltage battery 12 and preventing charge from being communicated to the high voltage battery 12 when such a fault has been detected.
Abstract:
In an automobile vehicle, a seat assembly includes a seat belt and a seat belt inertia reel attached to the seat. The reel is equipped with belt locking means. Also included is a seat pan position adjustment means that enables a seat pan to be inclined by pivoting around a transverse horizontal axis. The inertia reel is attached to the seat pan and is installed so as to pivot around an axis that is substantially parallel to the transverse horizontal axis. A correction mechanism corrects the angular position of the inertia reel with respect to the seat pan according to the inclination of the seat pan.
Abstract:
The device includes an unlocking control button sliding in a guide well between (1) a position indicating unlocking, where the head of the button is clearly visible outside of the well, and (2) an unlocking control position where a lower end of the button pushes a lock into an unlocking position enabling the disengagement of a locking component. The device includes a spring returning the button to its position indicating unlocking, and control means to bring the button into an intermediary position where its head is more or less flush with the edge of the well, only when the locking component is in the locking position.
Abstract:
The sanitizing device for tool and cart handles is designed to rest on a base mount attached to the tool handle. When the user wants to use the sanitizing device they move the device from its rest position, spray sanitizing solution onto the desired surface area of the tool or cart handle, then slide the device along the handle to sanitize and/or disinfect it. The device includes a sponge which aids in the thorough sanitization of the desired surface area. In addition to sanitizing tool or cart handle, the device allows the user to direct the sanitizing spray into their hands to eliminate or minimize the transfer or spread of communicable pathogens. The fluid reservoir may be refillable or, alternatively, the fluid reservoir may be disposable and replaceable when the fluid is depleted.
