Abstract:
The present application provides a method for treating an influenza virus infection in a subject characterised in that a therapeutically effective amount of a modulator of the ubiquitin-binding property of HDAC6 is administered to said subject. The present application also provides an antibody binding to HDAC6 and decreasing or blocking its ubiquitin-binding properties for use in treating an influenza virus infection.
Abstract:
A battery assembly having a plurality of battery modules capable of powering a traction motor of a vehicle. First and second end frames are provided on the battery modules. A plurality of battery cells is disposed between the first and second end frames. The first end frame of one of the battery modules has a first pocket. The second end frame of an adjacent battery module has a second pocket. The first and second pockets are aligned when the battery assembly is assembled to define a receptacle. A thermistor is disposed in the receptacle. The thermistor extends through the first pocket of the first end frame and at least partially into the second pocket of the second end frame.
Abstract:
An end-to-end cell connection system for a battery assembly uses a conductive interconnector with an inner portion welded to an end of one cell, a standoff portion contiguous with the ring portion, tabs extending from the standoff portion, with the tabs welded to an end of another cell. By placing an insulator between the interconnector and the one cell, an electrical short is prevented in the event that a longitudinally coupled cell group is jostled. At the cell connections, there is a recess. To hold the cell group in place, the housing has a tab extending into the recess. The tab is at the center so that any dimensional variations are accommodated on each side of the tab. The interconnector also may include a receptacle for a thermistor to obtain a measure of battery assembly temperature. Diverter ribs may be provided in the housing to distribute flow to all cells.
Abstract:
A method for knowledge capture of exploration and production (E&P) tool sessions, including performing, using an E&P tool configured on a computer system, a first E&P tool session based on a subterranean formation field data set, recording a video capture of a plurality of scenes generated by the E&P tool and displayed during the first E&P tool session, capturing a description associated with a first scene of the plurality of scenes, wherein the first scene is assigned a time stamp corresponding to a specific point in time of a time line of the video capture, tagging the description with the time stamp included in a log of the video capture, and storing the video capture and the log of the video capture, wherein the description is synchronized with the specific point in time of the first scene based on the time stamp.
Abstract:
A filter assembly includes a disposable filter body and a central support for the disposable filter body. Openings are provided in upper and lower ends of the disposable filter body for receiving a respective end of the central support. The filter assembly also includes a disposable filter cartridge, housed within the disposable filter body, and housing a filter member for filtering particulate contaminates from a flow of fluid through the filter assembly. The filter member is hollow and the disposable filter cartridge also includes an impermeable wall that extends axially through the filter member. The central support is separable from the disposable filter body and removable from the openings to allow disposal and replacement of the filter body and the filter cartridge during servicing.
Abstract:
A system and a method for tracking users in a closed environment even in the case the available system for locating a user is an idle state is based on the use of a system which comprises a database for storing the location of the users measured at regular time interval within that closed environment. Such a system comprises further a processor for estimating the possible location of a registered user at any time according to the different stored measured location. Such estimation can be advantageously a statistical analysis corresponding to some daily geographical footprint of the registered user. The system comprises also a decision unit to provide the possible location of the registered user estimated for a specific time when required in the case the location measurement system is in an idle state. In that case, the estimated possible location can be forwarded to some PSAP.
Abstract:
A battery having a plurality of cell pairs arranged in an array is disclosed. The cells pairs are coupled longitudinally. Sense leads are provided on the ends of cell pairs to obviate providing a sense lead proximate the junction of the cell pair.
Abstract:
A system includes a turbomachine that includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor is configured to rotate about a rotational axis relative to the stator. In addition, the rotor includes a least one rotary blade, and the at least one rotary blade has a patterned structure of beams and cavities.
Abstract:
A hybrid multichannel porous structure for processing between two fluid streams of different compositions includes a housing and one or more structures disposed within the cavity of the housing in a shell and tube configuration. Each structure includes a body made of a porous, inorganic material and a plurality of channels for processing an optional sweep stream. Each channel is coated with a membrane layer. A feed stream introduced into the housing is in direct contact with the structures such that a gas selectively permeates through the body and into the channels. The gas combines with the sweep stream to form a permeate that exits from each channel. The remaining feed stream forms a retentate that exits from the housing. The feed stream may consist of syngas containing hydrogen gas and the sweep stream may contain nitrogen gas. A power plant that incorporates the hybrid structure is disclosed.
