摘要: Techniques can construct a learner's educational context (e.g., course enrollments, subject-matter interests, and/or activity involvements) and tailor query processing using the educational context. For a given query, each concept in a set of concepts can be assigned a weight. The weight can depend on a query term in the query. For example, for a query including “North America”, a “geography” concept and a “history” concept can be determined to be related to the query, and weights can be influenced accordingly. Weights can also depend on a user's educational context (e.g., such that the “geography” weight is higher when a learner is enrolled in a geography course). A query time can also be analyzed in view of schedule data (e.g., indicating when particular topics are to be studied in a course). Weights can further depend on which concepts are recently, currently or will soon be of interest based on the schedule.

摘要: Systems and methods for determining mastery in a Bayesian network are disclosed herein. The system can include memory including a content library database containing content for delivery to a user. The system can include at least one processor that can receive an assertion from a user device and identify one or several nodes relevant to the received assertion. The at least one processor can further evaluate the assertion and calculate a node mastery probability for the identified one or several relevant nodes. The at least one processor can calculate mastery of related nodes and determine mastery of an objective based on the mastery of the relevant nodes and the related nodes. The at least one processor can generate a mastery bar and update the mastery bar with the determined mastery of the objective.

摘要: Techniques described herein relate to generating and managing digital credentials using a digital credential platform in communication with various digital credential template owners and digital credential issuers. In some embodiments, a digital credential platform server may receive and coordinate requests and responses between the digital credential template owners and a set of digital credential issuers, to determine which digital credential issuers are authorized to issue digital credential based on which digital credential templates. The digital credential platform server may provide the authorized issuers with access to particular digital credential templates and the functionality to issue digital credentials to users based on any of the particular digital credential templates. Additional techniques described herein relate to tracking, analyzing, and reporting data metrics for issued digital credentials.

摘要: Systems and methods for automatic content remediation notification are disclosed herein. The system can include memory that can contain a content library database. The system can include a first user device and one or more servers. The one or more servers can: receive a content aggregation creation request from the first user device; identify content information associated with a set of the plurality of data packets; apply a filter request to the set of the plurality of data packets; automatically provide information relating to data packets in the restricted set of data packets to the first user device; receive content aggregate information identifying a content aggregate from the first user device; evaluate the content aggregate according to the metadata associated with the data packets of the content aggregate; and output an indicator of the evaluation result to the first user device.

摘要: Embodiments related to processing data sets in real-time by using a distributed network to generate and process partitioned streams. Messages are assigned to partition streams. Within each stream, each of a set of processors perform a designated task. Results from the task are transmitted (directly or indirectly) to another processor in the stream. The distributed and ordered processing can allow results to be transmitted while or before the results are stored.

摘要: Systems and methods for secure cloud-based content delivery are disclosed herein. A system for secure cloud-based content delivery can include an administrator device communicatingly connected with a server via a wireless network. The administrator device can: receive a request for check-in information from the server via the wireless network; and transmit check-in information to the server via the wireless network. The system can include a user device communicating connected with the server and with the administrator device. The user device can: receive a launch signal from a content driver of the server; launch a first virtual machine; launch a second virtual machine within the first virtual machine; receive pixel data at the second virtual machine; generate an image from the received pixel data; receive a plurality of user inputs via an input/output subsystem of the user device; and relay the user inputs to the content driver.

摘要: The present invention allows a language learning platform to calculate a user's overall language skill. This may be performed as a standalone test or before, during and/or after a language course. The language learning platform may perform a Pre-CAT process, a CAT process, a stage 2—fixed form process and a scoring and reporting process. The Pre-CAT process is designed to quickly get an initial estimate of the user's overall language skill. The CAT processes improves on the accuracy of the Pre-CAT process, preferably until the conditional standard error of measurement for the user's overall language skill is less than a predetermined number. The stage 2—fixed form process may use the user's overall language skill to select speaking, listening and writing assessment items of an appropriate difficulty for the user. The language learning platform may score the responses of the user, present the measured user's overall language skill to the user and save the user's overall language skill in a database for use in future tests.

摘要: Systems, device configurations, and processes for a server to receive, from a user interface (UI) on a client, a request to generate a list from a selection of: an objective, vocabulary item, and/or grammar point mapped to a range of competency scores, and an audience. The server then selects data records storing data for the objective, vocabulary item or grammar point. The server then renders, for transmission and display on the client, a user interface control including a list of data for the objective, grammar point, and/or vocabulary item.
