Abstract:
A method of painting a portion of a shell of a brake booster which is joined together by a caulking operation. A pair of members are disposed in opposing relationship to each other, and a shear caulking operation is applied to the outer periphery thereof at a plurality of locations, thereby joining the members together to define a shell. The shell is held so as to be rotatable about its axis, and a nozzle of a paint applicator is disposed in opposing relationship with the outer periphery of the shell. By intermittently rotating the shell through a given angle, paint is applied successively to only the caulked portions.
Abstract:
A phase-locked loop device for producing an output clock synchronized in phase with an input clock, wherein in addition to a loop responsive to the phase difference between an output clock of a controlled oscillator and the input clock for controlling the controlled oscillator, there is provided another loop for controlling the controlled oscillator in accordance with the frequency difference between the output clock of the controlled oscillator and a reference clock.
Abstract:
An active matrix-type display device including a plurality of field effect transistors arranged in a matrix, a plurality of gate lines, an apparatus for combining the gate lines in a set of combinations each containing two or more gate lines and for changing the set of combinations, and a driver for sequentially driving the combinations of gate lines so that the gate lines contained in a combination are driven simultaneously and all the gate lines are scanned in one vertical scanning period.
Abstract:
A method of driving a liquid crystal display panel which is suitable to display a multivalue image such as a television image or the like, including the steps of inverting an image signal every time a horizontal sync signal is generated, applying the image signal to source lines of the display panel, and synchronously applying an inversion control signal to the common opposite electrode of the display panel, thereby remarkably reducing the driving voltage of the source lines. In this manner, a high-speed CMOS device of a low withstanding voltage can be used as an integrated circuit to drive the source lines.
Abstract:
A color display panel comprising a plurality of picture elements arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns, and a plurality of driving lines disposed substantially along columns of picture elements, each picture element forming a color picture element selected from red picture elements, green picture elements and blue picture elements. Two or three types of color picture elements selected from the red, green and blue picture elements are arranged in a column, and each type of color picture elements among the two or three types of color picture elements arranged in a column are commonly connected to a driving line.
Abstract:
A video signal processing device including emphasis and/or de-emphasis circuit being arranged to have a circuit to emphasize a high frequency component of a video signal which has been introduced at a time of frequency modulation in a linear phase. Further, the circuit clips an output of the emphasis circuit with a prescribed amplitude and at the same time supplies a frequency modulated video signal to a de-emphasis circuit which has a characteristic of being contrary to the frequency characteristic of the emphasis circuit.
