The UE receives, from the network, a paging configuration for a Radio Resource Control (RRC) idle state or an RRC inactive state paging operation, the paging configuration comprising a paging subgroup identification for the UE and monitors paging occasions based on at least the paging subgroup identification.

Abstract: A method performed by a user equipment (UE) is described. The method includes establishing a connection to a network that includes discontinuous reception (DRX) cycles, each DRX cycle including a scheduled OnDuration and a wake up signal (WUS) opportunity corresponding to each of the scheduled OnDurations, when a WUS is received in the WUS opportunity for one of the scheduled OnDurations, configuring the UE to utilize an active mode of processing during the one of the scheduled OnDurations and when a WUS is not received in the WUS opportunity for one of the scheduled OnDurations, configuring the UE to utilize a sleep mode of inactivity during the one of the scheduled OnDurations.

Abstract: A multi-universal subscriber identity module (MUSIM) user equipment (UE) is configured to stay synchronized with a network. The UE registers to a first network for the first SIM, registering to a second network for the second SIM, prior to the UE conducting a high priority activity related to the second SIM, sends, to the first network via a connection associated with the first SIM, a first message comprising an estimated time duration during which the UE conducts the high priority activity related to the second SIM, receives, from the first network, a second message indicating a time period during which the first network will retain a connection context for the connection associated with the first SIM in an RRC Inactive state and when the UE completes the high priority activity, determines the connection context of the first network for the connection associated with the first SIM.

Abstract: Reporting potential impacts of sounding reference signal-switching (SRS-switching) to a base station may include determining that SRS-switching is to be performed by a UE. Based on determining that SRS-switching is to be performed, potential impacts to one or more of a plurality of radio access technologies (RATs) caused by performing SRS-switching while sharing radio frequency (RF) front-ends (RFFE) between at least a subset of the plurality of RATS may be processed. The potential impacts may comprise at least one of transmit-blanking (Tx-blanking) and receive-blanking (Rx-blanking) associated with one or more of the subset of RATs. A communication that indicates the potential impacts of SRS-switching may be encoded for transmission to a base station. The base station may also provide priority configurations for determining how to handle Tx-blanking, Rx-blanking, and SRS-skipping associated with SRS-switching.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide secondary cell group (SCG) activation and deactivation. A user equipment (UE) in a wireless network may determine bandwidth part (BWP) configurations for a carrier of a primary secondary cell (PSCell) of an SCG for dual connectivity (DC). The UE may move between an SCG activation state and an SCG deactivation state based on the BWP configurations. SCG deactivation modeling may be based on a separate BWP configuration or may be modeled via a separate configuration in radio resource control (RRC) that is applicable to the BWPs in a serving cell.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) operates in a network. The UE receives, from the network, a paging area comprising a plurality of cells of the network. When the UE is in one of a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state or RRC idle state with respect to the network, the UE transmits a message to a first cell of the paging area based on the UE moving into a first coverage area of the first cell from a second coverage area of a second cell of the paging area. The UE then monitors the first cell for a page from the network.

Abstract: A network configures and transmits paging information. The network transmits configuration information to a user equipment (UE) operating in the network, wherein the configuration information comprises a value N based on a minimum gap between reception of a paging downlink control information (DCI) by the UE and fully processing the paging DCI by the UE, configures a paging DCI to be transmitted to the UE on a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH), wherein the paging DCI includes scheduling information for a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) and transmits the paging DCI to the UE on the PDCCH.
