Abstract: In one example, a processor receives a structured query, parses the structured query into components, and stores the structured query, the components, and at least one attribute regarding the structured query in a first query record of a query record storage platform, the at least one attribute comprising a user identification of a user generating the structured query. The processor may then receive a search associated with the query record storage platform, where the search includes at least one parameter, and where the at least one parameter specifies at least one of the structured query, at least one of the components, or at least one of the at least one attribute regarding the structured query, and return the first query record in response to the search.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, applying a setting voltage across first and second electrodes, wherein a nanowire with a first electrical resistance is electrically connected between the first and second electrodes, wherein the applying of the setting voltage causes a migration of ions from the first and/or second electrodes to a surface of the nanowire, and wherein the migration of ions effectuates a reduction of electrical resistance of the nanowire from the first electrical resistance to a second electrical resistance that is lower than the first electrical resistance; and applying a reading voltage across the pair of electrodes, wherein the reading voltage is less than the setting voltage, and wherein the reading voltage is sufficiently small such that the applying of the reading voltage causes no more than an insignificant change of the electrical resistance of the nanowire from the second electrical resistance. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Using Location Data and Mobile Application Data to Assess Product Competition

Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to using location data and mobile application data to assess product competition. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a product competition assessment system can obtain temporal location data for a user device associated with a customer. The temporal location data can identify a local store and a time period in which the customer was located at the local store. The system can obtain device usage data corresponding to the customer using the user device during the time period. The system can obtain point-of-sale (“POS”) data from a POS system associated with the local store. The POS data can include a purchase history associated with the customer during the time period. The system also can determine whether the purchase history identifies one or more items also identified in the device usage data.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments and a method. The method includes iteratively providing messages to each Node Processor. Each Node Processor represents a node of a group of nodes. The iteratively providing of the messages comprises providing first messages. Each first message includes a cost associated with a path of nodes visited by each first message. A selected path is obtained from each node having a lowest cost of a group of common endpoint costs for paths having common endpoints. A next group of messages includes the selected path. The iteratively providing of the messages results in selected paths. Also, the method include determining a target path from a remaining path. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: To provide mobile device coupons and discounts, a mobile device couponing system is provided to generate and send coupons to mobile devices based on a probability that the mobile device is within a defined region. The value of the coupons can be inversely proportional to the probability that the mobile device is within the defined region. The probabilities can be precomputed by calculating the probability that each cell in grid in or around the defined region is in the defined region using a set of standardized location resolutions. When location information is received from the mobile device, the probability that the mobile device is within the defined region can be retrieved based on the closest cell that matches the location indicated in the location information and the standardized location resolution closest to the location resolution indicated by the mobile device.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method comprising: applying to a substrate a first two-dimensional layer; and applying to the first two-dimensional layer a second two-dimensional layer, wherein the first two-dimensional layer and the second two-dimensional layer form a bi-layer element, wherein the bi-layer element has an axis, wherein there is an initial electrical resistance across the bi-layer element along the axis, and wherein a first change to the substrate results in a second change to the bi-layer element such that the initial electrical resistance is replaced by a lower electrical resistance. Other embodiments are disclosed.
