    Abstract: Aspects of the subject matter described herein are directed towards indicating to a wireless network device which time-division duplex slot patterns (slot formats) are supported by a user equipment device, e.g., which slot patterns have went through interoperability and deployment testing (IODT) successfully with respect to the type of user equipment device. With the supported slot pattern information, the network can make an intelligent decision on scheduling downlink/uplink ratios, while selecting a slot pattern that the user equipment device is known to support. In one aspect, the technology adds a “Slot format IODTed” information element in the user equipment device capability information, which the network obtains when the user equipment device reports its capabilities to the network. In another aspect, the network can query the user equipment device for the supported slot format information.

    Abstract: Adaptive grouping of an access point (AP) slice with other computing resource slices is disclosed. Grouping of an AP slice can comprise grouping to a radio access network (RAN) slice, to a backhaul network (BH) slice, to a network core component (core) slice, or combinations thereof. The grouping can be based on end point device information, AP environment information, and/or user preference information. Coordinating or synchronization of AP, RAN, BH, core slices, or combinations thereof, can enable streamlining of migration of a device between an AP component to a RAN component. Moreover, slice coordination can enable efficient use of communication path resources tailored to needs of devices connecting to an AP device. A determined grouping can be modified before provisioning, or after provisioning, in response to changes in device demands, AP state, etc.

    Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards avoiding a misconfiguration that uses a Long Term Evolution (LTE) and new radio dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) carrier as an LTE carrier and new radio primary secondary cell carrier concurrently for a dual connectivity mobile device. Network equipment can detect the misconfiguration and prevent its usage, or if already configured, deconfigure the LTE DSS secondary cell during setup of a dual connectivity mobile device. Alternatively a dual connectivity mobile device can detect the misconfiguration and notify the network to terminate one of the carriers. Information regarding the misconfiguration can be saved in the mobile device to proactively avoid the dual misconfiguration going forward. Such information can be communicated to other mobile devices, as well as the network.

    Abstract: Facilitating real-time power optimization in advanced networks (e.g., 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a method can include determining, by a system comprising a memory and a processor, a power distribution setting for a user equipment that includes multiple radios based on a historical radio power usage, a historical performance result, a current location, and an application currently executing on the user equipment. The method also can include implementing, by the system, the power distribution setting across the multiple radios of the user equipment. The first radio of the multiple radios can be a first radio type and a second radio of the multiple radios can be a second radio type, different from the first radio type.

    Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a personalized cloud service requirement based on a user identity and proximity to a first location. A first edge network is configured based on the personalized cloud service requirement and the first location, and the user is provided with access to a personalized cloud service via the configured first edge network according to their proximity to the first location. A second, different location is determined, and a second edge network is configured based on the personalized cloud service requirement and according to the second location. The user is provided with access to the personalized cloud service via the configured second edge network according to their proximity to the second location. In this manner, the edge network may be reconfigured to effectively follow the user, thereby extending remote access to a consistent, personalized cloud service. Other embodiments are disclosed.
