A method of enhancing yield-related traits in plants by modulating expression of nucleic acids encoding EMF2 polypeptides or UCH1-like polypeptides is provided. Plants with modulated expression of the nucleic acids encoding EMF2 polypeptides or UCH1-like polypeptides have enhanced yield-related traits relative to control plants.
