摘要: A switched mode power supply (SMPS) comprising a feedback unit, voltage feed forward (VFF) compensation signal generator and a transient detector. A VFF compensation signal is only applied to the output of the feedback unit when a transient is detected by the transient detector on the input voltage of the SMPS, thereby saving power and computation time. The transient detector comprises a first comparator to detect that a positive transient has occurred if a difference signal is greater than a positive threshold level; a second comparator to determine if the difference signal is within a predetermined range of positive values and output a result that indicates if the difference signal is within the predetermined range of positive values; and a first calculator to detect that a positive transient has occurred if, out of a first predetermined number of consecutive results of the output of the second comparator, there is at least a second predetermined number of results indicating that the difference signal is within the predetermined range of positive values. The transient detector comprises further features for similarly detecting a negative transient.

摘要: A method of determining a measure of a total capacitance of one or more capacitive elements connected to an output of a switched mode power supply is described. The method includes generating a voltage control signal to cause an output voltage control signal age controller to sweep a voltage at the output of the switched mode power supply from an initial voltage value to a final voltage value. Sample values of a current at the output measured by a current sampler during the sweep of the output voltage are received, and an integrated current value representing a measure of the total capacitance using the received sample values is calculated.

摘要: A method of determining a current in a switched mode power supply. The method comprises: storing values representing at least one pre-calculated matrix A; receiving measured current values; and using the stored values representing the matrix A and the received current values to calculate a respective initial value for each of the coefficients of the line and for each measured current value: calculating an estimated current using the equation of the line and the calculated initial values of the coefficients; determining a difference between the measured current value and the estimated current value to generate a difference value, and comparing the difference value against a threshold and, if the difference value is greater than the threshold, calculating updated values of the coefficients using stored values representing matrix A and difference value. A value for the current in the switched mode power supply is determined using the updated values of the coefficients

摘要: The invention relates to a device for the generation of microwaves, comprising a virtual cathode oscillator (1) in coaxial construction having an outer substantially cylindrical tube constituting a cathode (2) and connected to a transmission conductor (14) for feeding the cathode (2) with voltage pulses, as well as an inner substantially cylindrical tube, at least partially transparent for electrons, constituting an anode (3) and connected to a wave guide (13) for the discharge of microwave radiation generated by the formation of a virtual cathode (4) inside a region enclosed by the anode. The device comprises an electrically conductive structure in the form of a reflector (19) disposed adjacent to the anode (3). The cathode (2) comprises a substantially rotationally symmetric, electrically conductive body (15) having a cavity (16). By configuring the cavity (16) in the body (15) of the cathode with a first, lesser depth to that boundary surface (18) of the body which is directly in front of the peripheral part of the closure of the anode (3) against the cathode, and a second, greater depth to the boundary surface (17) of the body directly in front of the central part of the closure of the anode (3) against the cathode, a device for the generation of microwaves is produced, which has higher efficiency and high peak power.

摘要: The invention relates to a wearing parts system (1) intended for the tool of a tilling machine of the type which comprises a holder part (3), having a front end part (8), and an exchangeable wearing and/or replacement part (2), arranged over this end part and comprising a hood-shaped (6) hollow (7) which, when the wearing part (2) is fitted in place, is designed to grip over the end part and is fixed thereto by means of at least one locking device (27) placed through interacting openings (28), the end part and the hollow having front, rear and collateral contact zones (9, 22, 23), each comprising contact faces (10, 25, 26), disposed one on the holder part and one on the wearing part, for the absorption of acting vertical, horizontal and collateral forces Fx, Fy and Fz. The contact faces (25, 26) are designed to interact so as, on the one hand, to limit the pushing-on of the wearing part over the holder part and, on the other hand, to ensure that the contact between the contact faces will be made, primarily, at the common centre M0, of the two radii (of a recess and a projection) essentially in the horizontal plane YZ and secondarily, as the wear has progressed, symmetrically about this mid contact point as an increasingly large contact zone (22′, 23′).

The method comprises dividing a d-dimensional Cartesian space of nodes in the P2P overlay network into multiple virtual grids that form the auxiliary network, numbering each virtual grid, summarizing default overlay network zones of the P2P overlay network corresponding to each of the virtual grids that form the auxiliary network, receiving a data packet, and routing the data packet to a packet destination using one of the P2P overlay network and the auxiliary network.
