Abstract: A circuit topology for measuring current over a wide dynamic range using multiple series sense resistors and diode voltage clamping is described. A current sense network uses a diode clamping technique to reduce the voltage drop across the series network such that it can be used in a power supply circuit with minimal impact on output voltage regulation. The circuit topology allows for overlapping current measurement ranges that can be merged together to provide a wide dynamic range. The circuit topology does not dynamically switch current sense resistors (or capacitors) and avoids unintended noise injection caused by such switching, and is suitable for measuring a wide dynamic range of current in real time.

Abstract: A circuit includes: a driver circuit; a sense resistor; a test circuit; a current sense circuit; a calibration controller; and a switch controller. The current sense circuit is configured to: obtain first sense signals responsive to a test voltage applied to the sense resistor by the test circuit, the test voltage being a direct-circuit voltage; and obtain second sense signals responsive a supply voltage applied to the sense resistor by the driver circuit, the supply voltage including a common-mode voltage. The calibration controller is configured to calibrate the current sense circuit responsive to the first sense signals and the second sense signals. The switch controller is configured to update switch control signals provided to the driver circuit responsive to current sense signals obtained by the calibrated current sense circuit.

Abstract: A current detection system, a current detection method, and a detection apparatus are provided. The current detection system includes a printed circuit board and N groups of amplification apparatuses, wherein N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1. Each group includes at least one amplification apparatus. N Rogowski coils are mounted on the printed circuit board. The nth Rogowski coil is capable of being mounted concentric with the nth current-carrying conductor in N current-carrying conductors, which is perpendicular to a plane of the nth Rogowski coil. An output end of the nth Rogowski coil is connected to an input end of the first amplification apparatus in the nth group of the N groups of amplification apparatuses. The foregoing current detection system provides more convenience when being integrated into different electrical equipment, in particular when each group of amplification apparatus includes multiple amplification apparatuses.
