    摘要: A hinge structure is disclosed for hingedly joining a cover or lid member with a base or housing member of an overall unit, such as a control lens disinfector, or the like. The base or container member carries, in opposing side wall portions, a pair of coaxial, axially spaced cylindrical bores or apertures, while the cover member carries, in opposing side wall portions, a pair of coaxial, axially spaced and oppositely outwardly extending rod-like pins or pintle members. The axial spacing of these pins or pintles is similar to that of the bores or apertures of the base member. A pair of slots or openings are provided in an end wall of the cover member, being generally adjacent the confluences of the respective side walls with the end wall, one such slot being disposed immediately axially inwardly of each of the pin or pintle members. Advantageously, the slots provide for resilient movement of the side wall portions of the cover member adjacent the pin or pintle members. This resilient movement permits inward compression of these side wall portions for alignment of the pin or pintle members with the cooperating base member bores or apertures. Upon cessation of such compression, the cover member side wall portions resiliently return to their original shape, thus inserting the rod-like members for pivotal or rotative movement within their cooperating base member bores to define the assembled hinge structure.

    摘要: An embodiment of fish lure comprising a body which may be made up of articulated components, has a cross-section which includes a central web and flange portions, such that the fish lure is relatively lightweight, yet appears as a full-bodied fish conforming to the shape of a small bait fish upon which larger game fish feed. The fish lure may be provided with an adjustable diving plane at the head portion thereof and has a thin web and flange cross-section throughout the body portion to be pulled through the water with ease. The fish lure construction is ideally suited for use to attract large fish and can be broken down for storage.

    摘要: A liquid dispensing container particularly for single-use dispensing of eye medication and self-application of eye drop. The container for the liquid storage cavity has a molded plastic housing and at least one metallic foil wall secured to form an exterior wall of the housing and a flexible cavity wall. The foil wall is manually squeezable or deformable to enable a reduction in the volume of the cavity and compression and displacement of the medication therefrom. The foil wall is impervious to water vapor transmission out of the cavity which extends the shelf life of the stored container. The foil wall is also conveniently printed with labelling text and color. The plastic housing has an integrally molded nozzle which combine to control displaced flow and drop size of the dispensed medication.

    摘要: A liquid dispensing nozzle assembly for mounting on a squeezable liquid container and dispenser to maintain liquid in sterile condition during storage and repeated dispensing from the container, includes a conduit having a liquid discharge port leading to the ambience for discharge of the liquid therethrough to dispense liquid from the container. The liquid discharge port is formed in a discharge structure which eliminates microbial contamination of the discharge port during dispensing and storage of the liquid. Embodiments of the liquid dispensing nozzle have a liquid discharge structure including a composition comprising an antimicrobial component, in order to maintain microbially sterile condition of any liquid retained against the discharge structure following liquid dispensing therefrom. Additional embodiments of the nozzle structure of the invention include a tubular passage from which the liquid is discharged in which the tubular passage has a collapsible end portion defining a normally closed liquid dishcarge port. Tensioning members maintain tension on the end portion to retain the normally collapsed configuration thereof, while allowing the discharge port to be resiliently opened by exertion of hydraulic pressure, overcoming the imposed tension, from the liquid flow discharged therethrough.

    摘要: A release clip for use with big game fishing comprises a housing and a spool carrier, with the spool carrier being rotatably mounted on the housing. The spool carrier is capable of rotation between an open and a closed position. The spool carrier has a spool disposed about it where slack fishing line is wound, and the housing has a pad disposed about it that is capable of applying a soft compression to the slack line in order to keep the line in place, and to prevent the line from tangling. The relesase clip, when in the open position, releases the slack fishing line when a fish applies sufficient tension to the line, allowing the slack line to play off of the spool. The amount of line tension required to open the release clip can be set variably by a fisherman.
