    摘要: A spool assembly retains a winding of an electrical wire thereabout. The electrical wire is covered by a liquid insulating material. The spool assembly includes a cylinder to finding a longitudinal axis and an outer diameter. The cylinder extends between a high voltage end and a low voltage end along the longitudinal axis. The spool assembly also includes a high retainer disposed about the cylinder at the high voltage end. The high retainer has a high retainer diameter greater than the outer diameter of the cylinder. The spool assembly also includes a low retainer disposed about the cylinder at the low voltage end. The low retainer has a low retainer diameter greater than the outer diameter of the cylinder. This spool assembly also includes a channel extending along the cylinder inwardly from the outer diameter to receive the liquid insulating material when the liquid insulating material is forced through the winding to prevent air voids from forming at the inside diameter of the winding.

    摘要: Systems and methods are presented that use light sensors and computing devices to compute the depth of an object using shuttered light pulses. In one embodiment, depth is determined as follows: A light emitter emits a pulse of light that is directed toward an object. The pulse is reflected off the object and travels toward a beam splitter. The beam splitter splits the reflected pulse into multiple pulses, with each pulse directed to a shuttered sensor with a different shutter location. The shuttered sensors measure the integrated intensity of the light, and these values are used to determine the depth of the object. A method is presented which calibrates a system that has an arbitrary number of shutters and enables the system to determine the depth of an object, even in the presence of ambient illumination and scattered light.

    摘要: The snag-resistant fishing lure is a snag-free fishing lure designed to minimize the chances of the lure becoming ensnared. The lure has a jig and a blade attached to the blade in a configuration that limits the side-to-side movement of the blade, thereby preventing the jig from rolling to a hook-downward position prone to snagging. A centrally aligned hole is positioned close to the front edge of the blade member. An eyelet extending from the jig body is attached through an aperture in the blade. The blade is limited in its side-to-side movement by contact between the blade edge and either the jig body or the eyelet. The limited side-to-side movement of the blade creates a quick, controlled, oscillating blade action that imparts a natural swimming motion to the lure, emulating prey species movements.
