Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method includes: receiving a reference signal sent by a base station; selecting, based on the reference signal, a precoding matrix from a codebook, where a precoding matrix W included in the codebook is a product of three matrices being W1, Z, and W2, that is, W=W1ZW2, where both W1 and Z are block diagonal matrices, W1=a formula (I), Z=a formula (II), each of W1 and Z includes at least one block matrix, that is, NB≥1, and each column of each block matrix Zi in the matrix Z has the following structure formula (III); and sending a precoding matrix indicator PMI to the base station, where the PMI corresponds to the selected precoding matrix, and is used by the base station to obtain the selected precoding matrix W according to the PMI.

Abstract: A mobile station is connected to a multi-carrier cellular communication system having a plurality of sub-carriers. The sub-carriers are classified into K frequency sub-bands, channel state information (CSI) of the frequency sub-bands is represented by matrices Wi (i=0 . . . K−1), where K is an integer grater than 1. The mobile station determines a first sub-index k1 for the K matrices Wi (i=0 . . . K−1), and a second sub-index k2 for each one of the K matrices Wi (i=0 . . . K−1). The first sub-index k1 is common for all frequency sub-bands, and the second sub-index k2 is specific for the indexed matrix that corresponds to one frequency sub-band. The mobile station reports to a base station of the multi-carrier cellular communication system the first sub-index k1 and at least one second sub-index k2.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method, a device and a system for transmitting an enhanced downlink control channel, which belong to the communications field. The method for sending an enhanced downlink control channel includes: presetting a multiplexing unit, where the multiplexing unit includes at least one resource block pair, and the at least one resource block pair includes E-PDCCH resources and DM RS resources, and the E-PDCCH resources include multiple control channel elements; sending at least one E-PDCCH corresponding to at least one UE in at least one control channel element of the multiplexing unit, and sending the DM RS corresponding to the at least one UE. The present invention reduces the granularity of an enhanced downlink control channel, saves resources and enhances the downlink control channel, thereby providing more control channels for the UE to use.

Abstract: The present invention provides a signal sending apparatus, a signal detection apparatus, a signal sending and detection system, a signal sending method, and a signal detection method. The apparatus determines a time unit that is in each time window and that is used to transmit a synchronization signal, and transmits the synchronization signal in the determined time unit in each time window. Therefore, a synchronization signal is always located in a time unit that has a fixed location in each time window, so that a device at a receive end needs to perform detection only in a fixed time unit in each time window, thereby reducing complexity of designing and detecting the synchronization signal.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a channel state information CSI reporting method and apparatus, and a base station antenna. In the method, at least one precoding matrix is selected from a codebook based on a reference signal sent by a base station, and CSI is sent to the base station. The CSI includes at least one selected precoding matrix indicator PMI, and the PMI is corresponding to the selected at least one precoding matrix. At least one precoding matrix W included in the codebook may be expressed as W=W1W2, where is a Kronecker product, and at least one of W1 or W2 is an antenna selection matrix. Therefore, in embodiments of the present invention, the base station can select, according to the at least one precoding matrix that is fed back, one or more antenna ports to send a signal.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for transmitting data, and the method includes: first setting at least two second resource groups in each first resource group of at least one first resource group, and setting at least two reference signals in each of the second resource groups; then encoding data to be transmitted and generating two data streams from the encoded data; then, mapping the two data streams onto an available resource element of two different antenna ports, in which the reference signals corresponding to the two different antenna ports are set on two different second resource groups; and finally, transmitting, on the available resource element of the two different antenna ports, data on the two antenna ports. The present invention is applicable to the field of communications systems.
