    摘要: A stator for an electric rotating machine includes a stator core that has an annular yoke portion, a plurality of tooth portions, a plurality of connecting portions and a plurality of slots. The tooth portions are separately formed from and assembled to the yoke portion. Each of the tooth portions extends radially inward from a radially inner periphery of the yoke portion. The tooth portions are arranged in the circumferential direction of the yoke portion at predetermined intervals. Each of the connecting portions circumferentially extends to connect a corresponding circumferentially-adjacent pair of the tooth portions. Each of the slots is formed between a circumferentially-adjacent pair of the tooth portions. Moreover, each of the slots is partitioned by a corresponding one of the connecting portions into a radially-outer section and a radially-inner section.

The notches are formed along the inner periphery of the ring gear. Each notch has a bottom part slanted at a predetermined angle with respect to the radial direction of the ring gear, and a plurality of protrusions which correspond to the notches and are projected from the slant portion, in order to press the caulking portion in the axial direction of the ring gear.

    摘要: A fastening structure for a ring-gear and a differential case comprises a differential case which is provided with: a ring gear having a gear section formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof, and a plurality of notch portions formed on the inner peripheral surface thereof; a press-fitting surface whereon the ring gear is press-fitted; and a flange section which is forced against and caulked to the notch portions, at the end of the press-fitting surface. After the ring gear has been press-fitted to the press-fitting surface, the flange section is forced toward the notch portions, and thus the differential case is caulked and fastened to the ring gear. The notch portions have stepped surfaces, and thus rattling generated during torque transmission can be suppressed.

    摘要: Disclosed is a fastening structure of a ring gear, wherein a ring gear is fastened to a flange of a differential case constituting a differential subassembly. The ring gear has an inner peripheral surface to be press-fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the flange, and is swaged by a swaging portion provided on at least one end of the flange in the axial direction. In order to prevent the ring gear from deforming in the radial direction, an engaging means for engaging the flange with the ring gear using the relationship between a recess and a protrusion is provided. The engaging means is comprised of a recess formed at an end face of the ring gear and a protrusion formed on the flange. The protrusion is engaged in the recess by swaging.

    摘要: In an electric rotating machine, a stator coil is comprised of first and second winding groups. The stator coil is wound around a stator core in a concentrated winding manner so that the phase difference in electrical angle between each corresponding pair of windings of the first and second winding groups is equal to π/6. Further, the windings of the first and second winding groups are connected to form Δ-Y connections. Consequently, the sixth harmonic components of the electromagnetic forces created by the windings of the first winding group can be offset by those of the electromagnetic forces created the windings of the second winding group. As a result, the total magnetic noise and torque ripple generated in the machine can be reduced. Moreover, the machine can be driven with only a single three-phase inverter to achieve the effects of reducing the total magnetic noise and torque ripple.

    摘要: An electric rotating machine is disclosed which includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a hollow cylindrical stator core and first and second three-phase stator coils. The stator core has a plurality of stator core teeth formed at a predetermined pitch in a circumferential direction of the stator core. Each of the first and second three-phase stator coils is comprised of three phase windings. Each of the phase windings of the first and second three-phase stator coils is wound around each of a predetermined number of the stator core teeth by a predetermined number of turns. The rotor has a plurality of magnetic poles the polarities of which alternate between north and south in the circumferential direction of the stator core. Further, the first and second three-phase stator coils are offset in the circumferential direction of the stator core to have a phase difference of π/6 therebetween.

    摘要: In a rotary electric system, a switch member includes at least one of a first switch and a second switch. The first switch is connected between a neutral point of multiphase stator windings and a high-side electrode of a direct current power source. The second switch is connected between the neutral point and a low-side electrode of the direct current power source. A controller works to turn the switch member off and on thereby switching control of the multiphase inverter between full-wave driving mode and half-wave driving mode. The full-wave driving mode allows the controller to drive all of the high-side and low-side switching elements per phase of the multiphase stator windings. The half-wave driving mode allows the controller to drive any one of the high-side switching element and the low-side switching element per phase of the multiphase stator windings.

    摘要: A voltage control apparatus checks a battery voltage when an automotive generator gradually increases its output to be within a predetermined range after temporarily stopping the generator. Then, the battery voltage is picked up to calculate the charge rate. Further, a first charge rate and a first residual capacity of the battery is memorized when the engine is stopped. Periodically, a pseudo-open circuit voltage is checked when a charge/discharge current fits within a predetermined small range while the engine is not running, and a second charge rate calculated based on the checked pseudo-open circuit voltage. A second residual capacity is calculated using the first charge rate, the first residual capacity and the second charge rate.
