    摘要: A voltage control apparatus checks a battery voltage when an automotive generator gradually increases its output to be within a predetermined range after temporarily stopping the generator. Then, the battery voltage is picked up to calculate the charge rate. Further, a first charge rate and a first residual capacity of the battery is memorized when the engine is stopped. Periodically, a pseudo-open circuit voltage is checked when a charge/discharge current fits within a predetermined small range while the engine is not running, and a second charge rate calculated based on the checked pseudo-open circuit voltage. A second residual capacity is calculated using the first charge rate, the first residual capacity and the second charge rate.

    摘要: A bias magnet unit has a permanent magnet that applies a bias magnetic field to an optical spot on a magneto-optical disk. A driving coil rotates the magnet in order to change a polarity of the bias magnetic field. A sensor detects the intensity and polarity of the bias magnetic field to confirm the rotational position of the magnet after it has been rotated. A linkage structure that is connected between a magnet holder of the magnet unit and the housing has arms that drive the magnet unit between two positions, one in which the magneto-optical disk cartridge can be inserted into the device and another in which the disk is loaded onto the spindle motor for recording/playback. Overall, the components of the device cooperate structurally to provide a relatively thin device structure having low power consumption.

    摘要: An optical disk recording, and reproducing apparatus for recording and reproducing information and which is capable of storing a large amount of information, transferring data at a high speed, and supporting SCSI-1 and SCSI-2. The magnetooptical-disk recording and reproducing apparatus is of the same size as that of the 5.25-inch magnetic disk recording and reproducing apparatus. The front panel 1 has the cartridge slot 2 and cartridge ejection button 3 provided thereon so that a cartridge including a disk for recording and reproducing information is inserted in or ejected from the apparatus. The cartridge insertion slot 2 has a double flap provided so that at least one part of the double flap closes the slot, preventing dust from entering through the cartridge slot 2 except when the cartridge is inserted in or ejected from the apparatus. The magnetooptical-disk recording and reproducing apparatus can record information of 1 GB/side or above on the disk.

    摘要: A slide shaft is provided upright on a support portion, and a lens support is provided on the slide shaft in such a manner that it can rotate around the slide shaft and slide in the axial direction of the slide shaft. Therefore, a hole having a larger diameter than that of the slide shaft is formed at the center of the lens support. An objective lens is provided at one end of the lens support. A drive portion comprises permanent magnets provided on the support portion and coils for rotation and sliding which are provided on the lens support, and the rotation and movement in the sliding direction are performed by passing currents through the coils. The lens support is supported by a support spring which has high rigidity to the translation in the tracking direction and low rigidity to the rotation in a plane intersecting the slide shaft at right angles.
