    摘要: A sealing structure includes a housing to accommodate powder, a powder roller having a surface to bear and convey the powder, and an entrance seal disposed between the powder roller and the housing to allow powder remaining on a circumferential surface of the powder roller to enter the housing. A pair of left and right edge seals is provided in a circumferential direction of the powder roller to overlap with outer circumferential surfaces of both ends of the entrance seal, respectively. Both ends of the entrance seal include powder damming sections extended from both ends thereof along the pair of left and right edge seals, respectively. A pair of inner edges of the respective powder damming sections is each sandwiched between a corresponding one of the pair of left and right edge seals and the powder roller while substantially symmetrically inclining from the rotation direction of the powder roller.

    摘要: This invention provides a rolling mill and a rolling-mill train which are compact. Reducers to be coupled with them can be made compact. The inner surfaces of pipes to be rolled with the rolling mill and the rolling-mill train can be prevented from becoming squarish. The rolling mill comprises a plurality of rolls disposed symmetrically around the pathline of the rolling mill, an annular driving bevel gear of a large diameter for driving and rotating the rolls, an input-shaft mechanism for rotating the driving bevel gear, a plurality of transmission mechanisms disposed at regular intervals along the driving bevel gear, and a housing for holding them. The input-shaft mechanism (i) has an input shaft inserted in the housing from its outside and an input bevel gear of a small diameter mounted on the input shaft and engaging with the driving bevel gear and (ii) is disposed between two adjacent transmission mechanisms. With the input shaft disposed horizontally, the phase angle of the roll unit can be adjusted minutely.

    摘要: A sheet feeding and separating device incorporated in image forming equipment for feeding sheets one by one from a sheet stack while preventing two or more sheets from being fed together as far as possible and, when a plurality of sheets are accidentally fed together, surely separating one of them from the others. A pick-up member is implemented as an endless dielectric belt. An AC power source forms a charge pattern on the belt via an electrode. As a result, the belt retains a sheet by attraction and transports it due to the Maxwell stress generated in the sheet. When a plurality of sheets are fed together, an arresting member which faces the belt separates one of them from the others. Alternatively, a charge pattern may be formed on the surface of the arresting member.
