摘要: A lead frame includes a frame body defining an internal region; a plurality of leads extending from the frame body; a first stage disposed in the internal region; and a first modified connection lead structure comprising a flexible portion connected to the first stage and a modified connection lead connecting the flexible portion to the frame body. The modified connection lead has sloped side walls that permit a molten resin to flow into and fill up a small gap around the modified connection lead to form a void-free resin mold that encapsulates a sensor chip included in a sensor.

摘要: The present invention aims to be capable of properly measuring the cycle of an external signal even where a timer clock and a CPU clock are operated asynchronously. A timer circuit comprises a timer counter which counts a generation interval of an external signal in sync with the timer clock, a first timer register which fetches therein a counted value of the timer counter in sync with the timer clock, a second timer register which fetches therein the value of the first timer register in sync with the CPU clock, an edge detection circuit which detects a change in the level of the external signal to thereby generate an edge detection signal, and a reload control circuit which outputs a first reload control signal for reloading the count value of the timer counter into the first timer register in sync with the timer clock in accordance with the edge detection signal, and outputs a second reload control signal for reloading the value of the first timer register fetched therein by the first reload control signal into the second timer register in sync with the CPU clock, and which holds the output of the second reload control signal where the next edge detection signal is generated during the interval from after the generation of a first edge detection, the CPU reads the contents of the second timer register, and outputs the second reload control signal after the CPU has read the contents of the second timer register.

摘要: A select circuit selectively outputs one of a transition indication signal that is the output of an edge sense circuit of an input timer, a transition indication signal that is an output of an edge sense circuit of an output timer, and a control signal for controlling output using software. The state of activation of a switch circuit for controlling transmission of a clock signal to a counter of the output timer is then controlled by the signal selected by the select circuit.

摘要: In an electrophotographic recording apparatus of the type using a single-ingredient type developer, i.e., toner, a developing device has a developing roller for conveying the toner deposited thereon, and an intermediate roller for conveying the toner transferred theretofrom the developing roller and depositing it on a latent image electrostatically formed on an image carrier to thereby produce a corresponding toner image. During the development of an area of the image carrier other than a latent image area, a bias assigned to the developing roller is switched over to thereby form an electric field different in direction from an electric field assigned to the formation of the toner image between the two rollers. Further, before the rotation of the image carrier is stopped, the bias assigned to the developing roller is again switched in order to form the electric field for the formation of the toner image between the rollers. As a result, a toner layer is formed on the intermediate roller. Subsequently, the rotation of the image carrier is stopped. The device obviates defective images ascribable to the adhesion of the image carrier and intermediate roller while eliminating background contamination and wasteful toner consumption.

摘要: In an image forming apparatus, a developing device has a first developer carrier for depositing a developer thereon, a regulating member for regulating the amount of the developer deposited on the first developer carrier, and a second developer carrier having an elastic surface, and contacting the first developer carrier while biting into it by a predetermined amount. The developer is provided with a preselected degree of fluidity. Hence, even when the same portion of the surface of the second developer carrier runs a plurality of times past a position where the two developer carriers contact each other without any developer being fed from the second developer carrier to an image carrier, the first developer carrier can surely strip the developer from the second developer carrier. As a result, a developer on which a predetermined amount of charge is deposited is transferred from the first developer carrier to the second developer carrier. This successfully protects images from defects. Particularly, when the developer has a zinc stearate content of greater than 0.1 wt %, it is possible to prevent the developer from melting and adhering to a member which regulates the developer.
