摘要： A detector device of the present invention detects densities of components, such as gasoline and ethanol, contained in mixture fuel even when some water is included in the mixture fuel. The detector device includes a sensor having a pair or electrodes, an electronic device for calculating the densities and a memory device for storing permittivities of pure components including water measured beforehand. Alternating current having two different frequencies f1, f2 is applied to the pair of electrodes immersed in the mixture fuel to detect the permittivities of the mixture fuel under f1 and f2. The two frequencies, f1 and f2, are so chosen that the premittivities of gasoline and ethanol show no change between f1 and f2, while the permittivitiy of water shows a substantial difference between f1 and f2. The electronic device calculates the densities of the components based on permittivities of the mixture fuel detected by the sensor and those of components stored in the memory device.

In addition, the cap member has a first surface bonded to the sound receiving member, and a second surface that is bonded to the second surface of the semiconductor substrate at an outer periphery section of the membrane while having a gap between the cap member and the membrane.

摘要： A fluid sensor detects property of fluid by dipping the sensor in the fluid. The sensor includes: a semiconductor substrate; and a comb-teeth electrode made of a first diffusion layer and disposed on a first surface of the substrate. Although the comb-teeth electrode is capable of directly contacting the fluid without a protection film, corrosion resistance of the sensor against the fluid is improved. Further, since the sensor has no protection film, the sensor can detect the property accurately.

摘要： A belt transfer device according to the present invention includes an intermediate transfer belt, a transfer member, a shifter, a detector, and a controller. The transfer member primarily transfers a toner image from an image carrier to the intermediate transfer belt. The shifter reciprocates in specified opposite directions so as to shift the transfer member between a transfer position where the transfer member is in compressive contact with the inner surface of the intermediate transfer belt and a home position where the transfer member is away from the belt surface. The detector outputs a signal representing the position of the shifter. Based on the state of the signal output from the detector while the shifter is reciprocating each time in the opposite directions, the controller determines whether the tensile force of the intermediate transfer belt is proper.

摘要： A liquid property sensor for detecting property of liquid includes a semiconductor board, a first electrode and a second electrode, and a protection film. The first and second electrodes are disposed on the semiconductor board to be spaced from each other at a predetermined distance. The protection film has resistance relative to the liquid, and is exposed to the liquid. The first and second electrodes detect a capacitance therebetween as the property of the liquid in accordance with a relative permittivity of the liquid. A capacitance-voltage conversion circuit of the semiconductor board converts the capacitance into a voltage value.
