    摘要: A detector assembly is presented. The detector assembly includes a first detector layer having a top side and a bottom side, where the first detector layer includes a plurality of first coupling gaps. Additionally, the detector assembly includes a first interconnect structure operationally coupled to the first detector layer and configured to facilitate transfer of a first set of image data from the first detector layer to backplane electronics. The detector assembly also includes a second detector layer having a top side and a bottom side and disposed adjacent the bottom side of the first detector layer, where the second detector layer includes a plurality of second coupling gaps configured to facilitate passage of the first interconnect structure from the first detector layer to the backplane electronics. Also, the detector assembly includes a second interconnect structure operationally coupled to the second detector layer and configured to facilitate transfer of a second set of image data from the second detector layer to the backplane electronics.

    摘要: A method for calibration of an imaging system includes providing a calibration phantom system including a first phantom element material block having a first surface at a first height, wherein the first phantom element material block at least partially includes a first material having a first attenuation coefficient. Providing a calibration phantom system also includes providing a second phantom element material block having a second surface at a second height different than the first height, the second phantom element material block at least partially including a second material having a second attenuation coefficient different than the first attenuation coefficient, wherein the first phantom element material block and said second phantom element material block are co-positioned on a detector. The method also includes imaging the calibration phantom system to obtain phantom images, processing the phantom images, and extracting a plurality of calibration values from the processed phantom images.

    摘要: A spring motor for driving an electric power generator with constant power includes a crank-up spool, a take-up spool, and a relatively wide, flat tape spring which winds in a relaxed condition on the take-up spool. In one form, the spring has a width which varies approximately linearly from one end to another end so as to generate a constant torque at a fixed radius from an axis of the crank-up spool as the spring unwinds. In another form, the spring width is constant and a separate drum is driven by contact with the unwinding spring, with the separate drum driving an output shaft. In still another form, an idler wheel is driven by contact with the spring and the output shaft is driven from the idler wheel through gear contact with the periphery of an output drum mounted on the output shaft.

A powder precursor containing compounds other than thallium is compressed on a substrate. Thallium is incorporated in the densified powder precursor at a high temperature in the presence of a partial pressure of a thallium-containing vapor.
