摘要: A light-emitting module includes a light guide plate and a light source unit in accordance with an embodiment. The light guide plate include an upper surface, a lower surface facing the upper surface, a plurality of side surfaces connecting the upper surface and the lower surface, and a cross-sectional surface connected to at least one of the side surfaces. The light source unit includes a substrate disposed in correspondence with the cross-sectional surface and a point light source mounted on the substrate to emit light to the cross-sectional surface. Thus, light-emitting efficiency may be enhanced and the arrangement of point light sources may be optimized, so that a required amount of emitted light may be obtained using a small number of the point light sources. In addition, uniformity of luminance and heat-radiating efficiency may also be enhanced.

摘要: A composition for forming an electron emission source includes a polymer comprising a carbon-based material; a vehicle; and a unit of formula (1) below: wherein A1 is a single bond, or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkylene group; and Z1 and Z2 are each hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkoxy group, a carboxyl group, an —NR1R2 group, a part of a styrene group resin, or a part of a novolac resin, and R1 and R2 are each hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted C6-C30 aryl group. An electron emission source may be formed from the composition for forming an electron emission source, and an electron emission device and an electron emission display device may include the electron emission source. When the composition is used to form an electron emission source, the printability of the composition is improved and thus repeated printings can be carried out. Also, the developing properties are improved, so that an electron emission device having fine patterns can be obtained.

摘要: Disclosed are a high speed serializing-deserializing system and a method thereof. The high speed serializing-deserializing system includes: a serializing unit including a plurality of serializers, generating a strobe signal, and multiplexing and converting N bits of parallel data into serial data; a transmission link transmitting the converted serial data and the strobe signal from the serializing unit; and a deserializing unit including a plurality of deserializers, and converting the serial data from the transmission link into the N bits of parallel data with the strobe signal from the transmission link. When serializing N bits of externally supplied parallel data with a rate of N:1, the N may be set to one of various integers. Although the N is extend to a large number such as 16, 32, and the like, the performance is not deteriorated and serialization-deserialization is possible. Accordingly, a window time per one data may be decreased to reduce a total delay of a serialization, to increase a bandwidth of a link, and to improve the robustness of the serialization-deserialization.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for determining the location of a targeted mobile set using SUPL (Secure User Plane Location) in a wireless communications network, including sending a target set location initiation message to the targeted mobile set in response to a request message, causing a home positioning server to exchange the capacities of positioning methods with the targeted mobile set to select and store a suitable positioning method, and determining the location of the targeted mobile set by using the selected positioning method previously stored whenever the location is requested. Accordingly it is unnecessary for the targeted set to resend the target set location initiation message to the positioning server whenever repeating the location calculation for the repeated deferred service.

摘要: A semiconductor device and a method for manufacturing the semiconductor device are provided in which a lower plug electrically connected with an active region of a wafer has a recession, and a conductive layer has a projection fitted into the recession of the lower plug, so that a contact area between the lower plug and the conductive layer increases without increasing a contact resistance therebetween. Thus, the conductive layer can endure physical impacts applied in the formation of the conductive layer itself and in subsequent integration processes, without detaching from the lower plug or the wafer.

摘要: A method of fabricating a thin film transistor (TFT) assembly having a plurality of array lines, a plurality of pads, a plurality of link lines connecting the pads to the array lines, an insulating layer, and an electrode pattern formed on a substrate, and further having short-preventing structures for preventing electrical shorts between the pads and the link lines. The method includes the steps of forming the plurality of pads on the substrate, depositing the insulating layer on the substrate including over the pads, etching the insulating layer to form contact holes, and etching the insulating layer between the adjacent pads to expose a surface of the substrate to prevent a short between the adjacent pads from occurring, and forming the electrode pattern on the insulating layer by depositing and patterning an electrode layer such that the electrode pattern contacts the pads through the contact holes formed in the insulating layer. The steps of etching the insulating layer between the adjacent pads is performed concurrently with the etching step for forming the contact holes. In addition, the areas between adjacent pads are further etched concurrently with the step of etching the electrode layer.
