Abstract:
A method and a user equipment (UE) are described for transmitting power headroom (PH) information. The UE generates PH information, and transmits the PH information to a base station. The PH information includes a first field including a plurality of indicators, each of the plurality of indicators indicating the presence of a second field indicating a PH level of a corresponding secondary cell (SCell). The PH information further includes a type-1 PH field and a type-2 PH field for a primary cell (PCell). Each of the plurality of indicators is set to 0 or 1. An indicator, which has been set to 1, indicates that the second field exists for the corresponding SCell, and an indicator, which has been set to 0, indicates that the second field does not exist for the corresponding SCell.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for measuring non-serving entities in a wireless communication system. A method for a terminal to perform measurements in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment disclosed herein, comprises the steps of: receiving, from a network, configuration information about one or more resources to be measured associated with one or more non-serving entities, respectively; monitoring occurrences of events on the basis of the measurement results for the one or more resources to be measured; and transmitting instruction information based on the events to the network, wherein the threshold for the measurement results serving as the basis for the occurrence of events for the non-serving entities is equal to or lower than the threshold for measurement results serving as the basis for the occurrence of events for serving entities.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to logical channel handling in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a user equipment (UE) configured to operate in a wireless communication system comprises: identifying mapping information for one or more transmit/receive points (TRPs) associated with each of logical channels; receiving an uplink (UL) grant associated with a TRP among the TRPs; determining one or more logical channels associated with the TRP among the logical channels based on the mapping information; generating a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) of the one or more logical channels associated with the TRP; and transmitting the MAC PDU via the TRP.
Abstract:
The present disclosure related to a control of resource utilization in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a network may control a validity of dedicated physical random access channel (PRACH) resource for secondary cell group (SCG) activation. Therefore, the network can efficiently utilize the RACH resources configured to a UE by opportunistically or exclusively reusing the resources for other UEs.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for operations based on remaining service time in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device acquires information on a service time for a serving cell. A wireless device receive, from the serving cell, a measurement configuration including a first type of a measurement target and a second type of a measurement target. A wireless device determines whether to perform measurements on the second type of the measurement target, based on the information on the service time of the serving cell.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for evaluating service time for an NTN cell in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device may receive, from a network, cell coverage information for a Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) cell. The wireless device may receive, calculate a remaining service trace. The wireless device may evaluate remaining service time for the NTN cell based on the remaining service trace. The wireless device may determine whether to perform a mobility to the NTN cell.
Abstract:
The present disclosure related to a mobility enhancement based mobility in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a user equipment (UE) may perform a mobility based on consolidated radio link states of one or more transmit/receive points (TRPs).
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for a slice-aware cell barring in a wireless communication system is provided. The wireless device performs a first cell reselection procedure with slice-aware cell barring, by considering a specific cell as barred, based on the network slice information, until at least one barring release condition is met. Based on the at least one barring release condition is met, the wireless device release the specific cell from being barred.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for pausing Radio Link Failure detection for Non-Terrestrial Networks is provided. A wireless device establishes a connection with a Radio Access Node (RAN) node. A wireless device initiating a Radio Link Failure (RLF) detection for the connection. A wireless device receives, from the RAN node, information on feeder link switching which informs that an NTN gateway for the RAN node is switched. A wireless device stops the initiated RLF detection based on the information on the feeder link switching.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a routing path switching in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving a configuration for a first routing identity (ID) and a second routing ID, wherein the first routing ID is related to a first routing path towards a destination node, and the second routing ID is related to a second routing path towards the destination node; transmitting, to the destination node, a first protocol data unit (PDU) via the first routing path related to the first routing ID; and based on that a condition to switch a routing path is satisfied: constructing a second PDU so that a header of the second PDU includes information for a routing path switch to the second routing path; and transmitting, to the destination node, the second PDU including the header via the second routing path related to the second routing ID.
