Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for sending a discovery message in a wireless communication system. Specifically, a method for transmitting a discovery message in a wireless communication system supporting communication between user equipments (UEs) may include receiving, by a UE, discovery resource area configuration information from an evolved NodeB (eNB), determining, by the UE, the discovery resource area of the UE based on the discovery resource area configuration information and a value measured using a Reference Signal (RS) received from the eNB, selecting, by the UE, a discovery resource for transmitting a discovery message within the determined discovery resource area, and transmitting, by the UE, the discovery message in the selected discovery resource, wherein the discovery resource area configuration information comprises mapping information between the discovery resource area and the value measured by the UE using the RS.

An embodiment is a method for operating a sidelink transmission (TX) UE in a wireless communication system. The method comprises the steps in which the TX UE: establishes a PC5 connection with a reception (RX) UE; transmits a first sidelink DRX configuration to the RX UE; transmits a measurement report to a source base station; receives a handover command from the source base station; and performs a handover procedure, wherein the TX UE transmits a second sidelink DRX configuration to the RX UE on the basis of completion of the handover procedure, and the second sidelink DRX configuration is set by a target base station of the handover procedure.

An operation method of a first user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises receiving, from a second UE, sidelink transmission pool information including information on a sidelink transmission pool, selecting a sidelink reception pool related to the sidelink transmission pool based on the sidelink transmission pool information, receiving a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) from the second UE based on the sidelink reception pool, and receiving a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) from the second UE based on the sidelink reception pool. One of the sidelink transmission pool or the sidelink reception pool may support a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation.

A method performed by a second terminal supporting SL DRX in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present specification, comprises the steps of: receiving, from a base station, configuration information related to a resource pool for sidelink communication; receiving an SCI from a first terminal; and receiving, on the basis of the SCI, SL data from the first terminal. On the basis of an L2 destination ID associated with the SL data being associated with a plurality of QoS profiles, a resource pool to which an operation related to SL DRX is applied is determined, from among resource pools based on the configuration information, on the basis of a QoS profile associated with the SL data among the plurality of QoS profiles. SL DRX configuration mapped to the QoS profile associated with the SL data is applied to the determined resource pool.

The method may comprise the steps of: transmitting an MAC PDU to a second device and a third device in a group in which groupcast communication is performed, the MAC PDU being transmitted through a PSSCH on the basis that an SL DRX on-duration timer in an SL DRX configuration is operating; monitoring an HARQ feedback related to the PSSCH on the basis of a PSFCH resource; receiving the HARQ feedback related to the PSSCH from the second device on the basis that the SL DRX on-duration timer is operating; and transmitting an early termination message to the second device on the basis that the HARQ feedback is not received from the third device within a time interval in which the SL DRX on-duration timer is operating.

The method comprises the steps of: receiving first SCI for scheduling a PSSCH from a second device (200) through a first PSCCH on the basis of an active time and a first resource of an SL DRX configuration, wherein the first SCI includes information related to a plurality of resources including the first resource and a second resource; monitoring second SCI for scheduling a PSSCH, transmitted through a second PSCCH, on the basis of the second resource; and starting a timer associated with the active time on the basis of the second SCI not being received from the second resource.
