Abstract:
A method for array elements arrangement of an L-shaped array antenna based on inheritance of acquired character. The method relates to the field of array elements design for L-shaped array antenna. In order to solve the problem that the arrangement of the current L-shaped array antenna system has a weak local ability, the invention firstly encodes for the J_K array, then calculates a fitness of each chromosome in the population, randomly selects two parent chromosomes according to a overwriting probability of inheritance of acquired character, calculates a percentage of gene delivery, performs a overwriting operation to generate a new population, repeats the overwriting operation to generate the final new population; calculates the fitness of each chromosome in the population, repeats the iteration until a predetermined termination condition is met, and obtains the optimal population gene; then determines the array elements arrangement of the L-shaped array antenna according to the optimal population gene.
Abstract:
A reconfigurable TDD-FDD multiplexer operates in a TDD mode and a FDD mode. The TDD-FDD multiplexer includes an interdigital quadruplexer in series with a one-pole three-throw RF switch. The interdigital quadruplexer includes of two V-band filters, connectable to a transmitter and a receiver, respectively, for TDD mode duplexing, and two E-band filters, connectable to a transmitter and a receiver, respectively, for FDD mode duplexing. The E-band filters include an E-band transmitting filter that passes an E-band transmitting frequency band, and an E-band receiving filter that passes for an E-band receiving frequency band offset from the E-band transmitting frequency band. Switching between the V-band receiving filter and V-band transmitting filter enables TDD duplexing functionality at V-band frequencies. Switching to the two E-band filters enables FDD duplexing functionality at E-band frequencies.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the disclosed technology provides a display device comprising an electrophoresis solution tank containing electrophoresis solution and at least a rolling ball used for display colors, the rolling ball being immerged into the electrophoresis solution; and a shelter layer disposed above and covering the electrophoresis solution tank, the shelter layer being made up of an opaque material. A light transmitting hole is formed in the shelter layer and above the core of the rolling ball, so that the light of the color to be currently displayed on the rolling ball passes through the light transmitting hole for display, while the light of the colors not intended to be displayed is blocked by the shelter layer.
Abstract:
A method for reducing mercaptan concentration in a crude oil is disclosed. The method comprises contacting the crude with a treating solution comprising a hypochlorite solution, whereby the mercaptan sulfur is oxidized and converted to at least one sulfur oxoacid or salt thereof, yielding a treated crude oil having less than 50 ppm mercaptan sulfur and residual organic chloride. The treated crude oil containing residual organic chloride is brought in contact with a caustic solution at a molar ratio of caustic to chloride of 0.1:1 to 50:1, generating an upgraded crude oil with less than 10 ppm organic chloride. In one embodiment, the spent treating solution is recycled to form a regenerated hypochlorite stream for use in the treatment solution.
Abstract:
A high coercivity bias piece for making acousto-magnetic labels is made of an alloy strip with 10-14% weight percent Mn, less than 7% weight percent of one or more other transitional metals, with the balance Fe, after cold rolling to final gage, going through a final aging heat treatment at below 590 C, longer than 5 minutes. The strip thickness is 0.065-0.18 mm with coercivity measured by direct current method being 56-90 Oe. The method of making the high coercivity bias piece is to cold roll the strip to 0.07-0.15 mm with aging temperature at 450-570 C, for 0.5-20 hours to form a magnetic strip with coercivity of 60-85 Oe, followed by cutting the strip to required size. This high coercivity bias piece is manufactured without expensive Co and Ni materials, showing that a low cost Fe-(10-14% weight percent Mn) based alloy can be used to make high coercivity bias.

Abstract:
A faceted lightpipe arrangement and method have been described for use with an imaging projector system. A plurality of facets can be arranged to receive beams of light and to converge the beams of light while traveling from an input end to an output end of the lightpipe. The faceted lightpipe provides for a high degree of color mixing and a high degree of intensity uniformity.
