    摘要: A rotation angle detecting device includes a signal generator, a magnetic rotor and a rotation angle calculating unit that calculates a rotation angle θ of the rotor based on the output signals of the signal generator. The signal generator includes a magnetic rotor that has a permanent magnet and a shaft connectable with the rotating object and at least three magnetic sensor elements disposed in the magnetic field to generate a plurality of output signals when the rotor rotates. The rotation angle calculating unit calculates a first candidate of the rotation angle θ from a first pair of the three output signals, examines whether the first candidate of the rotation angle θ is normal or not and calculates a next candidate of the rotation angle θ from another pair of the three output signals if the first candidate of the rotation angle θ is not normal, examines whether the next candidate of the rotation angle θ is normal or not, repeats the above two steps until a next candidate of the rotation angle θ is judged normal, and outputs one of the first and next candidates of the rotation angle θ as a formal rotation angle if it is judged normal.

    摘要: An improved rotation angle detecting device that detects a rotation angle of a first member relative to a second member is proposed. The rotation angle detecting device includes a magnet unit fixed to the first member and a pair of magnetic sensors fixed to the second member to provide output signals whose phase is different from each other at 90 degrees in angle. The magnet unit includes a pair of disk plates that has the same magnetic poles at the same circumferential positions and is disposed at a prescribed axial distance and a shaft that is made of magnetic material to support the disk plates at the center thereof. The magnetic unit provides a uniform magnetic field in a space around the shaft between the pair of disk plates, and a pair of magnetic sensors is disposed in the space.

The rotation angle detecting device includes a housing, a magnet rotor unit having a permanent magnet and a central hole, a magnetic sensor unit including a pair of magnetic sensor elements each of which detects magnetic flux density of a magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet in a direction different from the other, and a signal processor that calculates a rotation angle of the rotating object from the magnetic flux density. The magnetic rotor unit includes a mechanism for changing the magnetic flux density as the number of turns of the magnet rotor unit changes.

    摘要: A torque sensor has a torsion bar coaxially in alignment with input and output shafts, a ring shaped magnet fixed to an axial end of the input shaft, a pair of magnetic yokes fixed to an axial end of the output shaft, and a magnetic sensor for detecting magnetic flux density generated between the pair of magnetic yokes. Each of the magnetic yokes is provided with claws, which are circumferentially spaced at constant intervals, and whose number is equal to that of each of N and S poles alternately arranged circumferentially in the magnet. Each, center of the claws coincides with a boundary between immediately adjacent N and S poles of the magnet, when the torsion bar is not twisted. The magnetic sensor is inserted into an axial gap between the pair of magnetic yokes without contacting the magnetic yokes.

    摘要: A magnetic sensor unit includes an actuator motor and a magnetic position sensor. The actuator motor has a magnetic circuit including motor magnets. The magnetic position sensor includes a sensor magnet and a hall element for detecting magnetic flux. Magnet clearances are formed between the motor magnets. The hall element is disposed outside of the motor to detect the magnetic flux in a direction penetrating through the magnet clearances, and which is perpendicular to a direction from one of the motor magnets to the other. In this disposition of the hall element, it is restricted that the hall element detects leaking magnetic flux from the motor magnets.

The magnetometric sensor is made of a semiconductor that integrates a semiconductor magnetometric sensor, a non- volatile memory, a computation circuit, and an output circuit. This structure provides a torque sensor system that has an excellent maintainability.
