摘要: An inscribed meshing speed increasing and reduction gear construction in which external teeth (for example, a1 and a2, b1 and b2, and c1 and c2) cut at the same position during processing are not simultaneously meshed with (outer pins 111 of) internal-tooth gear during operation in order to improve the accuracy after completion of assembling even if the gear is cut by a machine of similar processing accuracy. Thereby, (although it seems to be contrary to a conventional idea that said external teeth cut at the same position should be simultaneously meshed with the internal-tooth gear), the actual accuracy after completion of assembling can be improved. In this case, when both the number of teeth (24 in FIG. 1) of external-tooth gears 105a and 105b, and a difference in the number of teeth (4 in FIG. 4) between the external-tooth gear and (outer pins 111) internal-tooth gear, are set to integer times of the number (2 in FIG. 1) of the external-tooth gears, the external teeth of the external-tooth gears and various holes formed in the external-teeth can be all simultaneously (by one setting) cut, and remarkably improving the accuracy of the positional relationship between the external teeth and various holes.

摘要: A charge eliminating device for use with a photoreceptor drum. The device eliminates a charge on a required portion of the surface of a photoreceptor drum so that an electrostatic latent image is eliminated on the required portion. The device includes a circuit board for holding an electrical circuit on its surface, the circuit board having a line-shaped edge disposed to face the surface of the photoreceptor drum. A plurality of light emitting elements are disposed on the circuit board to emit light in parallel to the surface of the circuit board in the direction of the line-shaped edge of the circuit board. The device further includes a housing having a plurality of compartments each of which encloses one of the plurality of light emitting elements on the circuit board and has an opening at the line-shaped edge for passing the emitted light in parallel to the surface of the circuit board to the surface of the photoreceptor.

摘要: A magnetic head assembly including a carriage carrying a first magnetic head for recording information on, and reproducing it from, one side of a magnetic recording medium in the form of a disk, and a holding case connected to the carriage rotatably by a leaf spring and carrying a second magnetic head disposed opposite the first magnetic head for recording information on, and reproducing it from, the opposite side of the medium. The first magnetic head is supported on the carriage by a gimbal spring supported on a pivot, while the second magnetic head is secured to the holding case. The pivot is supported by a nonelastic member provided in the carriage. The gimbal spring has an outer portion at which it is attached to the carriage, and an inner portion projecting from its outer portion toward the holding case. The pivot contacts the inner portion of the gimbal spring.

摘要: An optical pickup assembly has a lens assembly movably supported in a magnetic gap of a yoke by flexible supporting members. Magnetic interaction between elements of the lens assembly and the yoke help center the lens assembly in the magnetic gap. Electromagnets move the lens assembly from the centered position. A light source, a collimator lens and a polarizing beam splitter are fixed with respect to the yoke.

摘要: Provided are an inkjet printing apparatus and a method of controlling an inkjet printing apparatus whereby the performing of a suction discharge operation, for air bubbles that have penetrated inside an ink supply line, can be suppressed to a minimum necessary number of times, and whereby the ink discharge volume that accompanies air bubble suction discharge operations can be kept low. The volume of an air bubble that penetrates into an ink supply line is estimated on the basis of an elapsed time since the last air bubble suction discharge operation, and in addition, the volume of an air bubble that penetrates into the ink supply line during main tank installation is predicted. The suction discharge operation (choke suction operation) for suctioning out and discharging air bubbles is conducted when the sum of these estimated volumes becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined value.
