Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control message that schedules a downlink signal on a second carrier for the UE. The UE may determine a transmission scheme of a plurality of transmission schemes based at least in part on the first carrier, the second carrier, and a second transmission reception point scheduled for transmission of the downlink signal. The UE may determine a delay between the downlink control message and the downlink signal based at least in part on the transmission scheme and receive the downlink signal via the second carrier in accordance with the determined delay.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may transmit to a user equipment (UE) over a control channel (e.g., a downlink control channel) and the UE may monitor for the control channel in a control resource set (CORSET). The control channel and the CORESET may be associated with a set of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The base station and the UE may identify an association between the resources of the CORESET and the set of TCI states based on a frequency division multiplexing (FDM) mapping between the resources of the CORESET and the set of TCI states. In some examples, the association may be a fixed rule at the UE. In other examples, the base station may signal the association to the UE via control signaling. The UE may decode the control channel based on the FDM mapping.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or a base station. The apparatus can receive SSB grouping information associated with one or more SSB groups, each of the one or more SSB groups including one or more TRPs. The apparatus can also receive at least one of TCI information or QCL information, each of the TCI information and the QCL information indicating an SSB of the one or more SSB groups that is associated with a downlink Tx beam for downlink data or an uplink Rx beam for uplink data. Additionally, the apparatus can communicate the downlink data from or the uplink data to TRPs in a same SSB group or TRPs in different SSB groups based on at least one of the SSB grouping information, the TCI information, or the QCL information.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for a beam-based channel access countdown procedure. In one aspect, a channel sensing beam may be permitted to include one or more transmit beams and, thus, may differ from a transmit beam that is to be used for a transmission. As such, defining a manner in which a channel access countdown procedure is performed is desirable. Some aspects described herein provide techniques and apparatus for a beam-based channel access countdown procedure. In some aspects, the systems, methods, and apparatuses described herein provide a beam-based channel access countdown procedure that allows a single channel sensing beam, including multiple transmit beams, to be utilized in association with determining channel availability for the multiple transmit beams, thereby improving performance of beam-based directional transmissions.

In another aspect, a method includes determining a number of RSRP reports to send based a CSI report request; transmitting a first RSRP report for a first beam of a plurality of beams, the first beam associated with a first group of beams of a plurality of groups; and transmitting a second RSRP report for a second beam of the plurality of beams, the second beam associated with a second group of beams of the plurality of groups.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects include configuring a user equipment (UE) to receive control signals from a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second TRP. A first TRP may transmit a control signal to the UE indicating resources for receiving a medium access control element (MAC-CE), where the control signal includes an indication that associates the MAC-CE with the first TRP. The first TRP may transmit the MAC-CE to the UE which may include a beam update indication for the first TRP. The UE may transmit an acknowledgement to the first TRP based on receiving the MAC-CE. The UE may also transmit an acknowledgment to the second TRP indicating that it has received a beam update indication from the first TRP. In some cases, the first TRP may send a MAC-CE signal to the UE including beam update information for the second TRP.

The UE may identify an indication to switch from the first control channel monitoring state to a second control channel monitoring state of the multi-TRP mode. The UE may switch, based on the indication, to the second control channel monitoring state, where the UE may be configured to monitor the first control channel of the first TRP and monitor a second control channel of the second TRP.
