Abstract: An operation method of a transmitting apparatus in a wireless communication system is provided. The operation method includes receiving a service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) header configuration and a header compression configuration through higher layer signaling and when an SDAP entity receives first data from an upper layer, generating an SDAP header and transmitting second data obtained by adding the generated SDAP header to the first data to a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity, the generating and the transmitting being performed by the SDAP entity, performing, by the PDCP entity, header compression on an upper layer header of the second data, excluding the SDAP header, performing, by the PDCP entity, ciphering on data of the second data, excluding the SDAP header and generating a PDCP header and transmitting third data obtained by adding the generated PDCP header to the ciphered data to a lower layer, the generating and the transmitting being performed by the PDCP entity.

The method comprises identifying consistent LBT failure for active uplink (UL) bandwidth part (BWP) in a serving cell, identifying at least one UL BWP for which consistent LBT failure has not been triggered on same carrier in the serving cell, wherein the at least one UL BWP is configured with physical random access channel (PRACH) occasion, and switching the active UL BWP to an UL BWP among the at least one UL BWP.

A header compression or a header decompression associated with a robust header compression (ROHC) are not configured, in case that the PDCP layer is configured with the out-of-order delivery.

Abstract: A method, performed by a user equipment (UE), of transmitting uplink data is provided. The method includes receiving, from a base station, configuration information for an uplink resource; determining a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process based on the configuration information; starting a configured grant timer (CGT) and a configured grant retransmission timer (CGRT) when uplink data corresponding to the HARQ process is transmitted; restarting the CGRT when the uplink data corresponding to the HARQ process is retransmitted; receiving, from the base station, downlink feedback information (DFI); and stopping the CGT and the CGRT based on the DFI indicating whether the base station received the uplink data.
