摘要: A film initial-advance apparatus advances, after a film cassette is loaded, a film leader portion protruding from the film cassette toward a film take-up spool. A drive lever moves as the film take-up spool rotates. The drive lever causes a film threading member to reciprocally and intermittently move along a film passageway. The film threading member engages with a perforation of the film leader portion to intermittently advance the film leader portion. When the film leader portion is fully captured by the film take-up spool, the drive lever is pushed outside in the axial direction of the film take-up spool by the side edge of the film leader portion, thereby disengaging the drive lever from the film take-up spool. The film threading member rotates while moving in the radial direction, having a large radius of rotation of the claw over the range wherein it engages a perforation of the film leader portion and a smaller radius elsewhere.

摘要: Disclosed is a resin composition for heat-sensitive transfer recording medium, comprising (A) a silicone resin and (B) at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyester resins, polyamide resins, cellulose type resins and acrylic resins.Disclosed is also a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium having at least one colorant layer containing a heat-fusible substance on a support, comprising a backing layer formed from (A) a silicone resin and (B) at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyester resins, polyamide resins, cellulose type resins and acrylic resins provided on the surface of the support where no colorant layer is provided. The resin composition for heat-sensitive transfer recording medium of the present invention has sufficient heat resistance. Also, the heat-sensitive transfer recording medium utilizing the resin composition for heat-sensitive transfer recording medium as a backing layer is free from generation of blocking phenomenon between the backing layer and a colorant layer even when stored for a long term under wound state, contamination of thermal head, generation of sticking phenomenon, transfer irregularity of a colorant layer and printed image defect.

摘要: An ink jet printer wherein a mechanical vibration is applied by an electromechanical transducer secured to a printing head to the ink in a nozzle and a pressure chamber of the printing head when the ink jet printer is not in a printing operation state, so that an ink flow is formed in the ink passage within the period of time including the mechanical vibrating operation or after the completion of the mechanical vibrating operation. The electromechanical transducer is used when droplets are jetted out. An electromechanical transducer which is brought into contact with the printing head only when the mechanical vibration is generated can be employed. The nozzle can be covered with a liquid within the period of time including the whole of the mechanical vibrating operation.
