    摘要: Disclosed is a resin composition for heat-sensitive transfer recording medium, comprising (A) a silicone resin and (B) at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyester resins, polyamide resins, cellulose type resins and acrylic resins.Disclosed is also a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium having at least one colorant layer containing a heat-fusible substance on a support, comprising a backing layer formed from (A) a silicone resin and (B) at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyester resins, polyamide resins, cellulose type resins and acrylic resins provided on the surface of the support where no colorant layer is provided.The resin composition for heat-sensitive transfer recording medium of the present invention has sufficient heat resistance.Also, the heat-sensitive transfer recording medium utilizing the resin composition for heat-sensitive transfer recording medium as a backing layer is free from generation of blocking phenomenon between the backing layer and a colorant layer even when stored for a long term under wound state, contamination of thermal head, generation of sticking phenomenon, transfer irregularity of a colorant layer and printed image defect.

    摘要: A heat-transfer recording medium is disclosed, which produces no lowering in transfer density even when the medium is used under such higher-temperature conditions as in a facsimile equipment and is capable of providing an easily readable transferred image having a low surface gloss, as well as having an excellent keep-secrecy and producing few voids. The recording medium comprises a support; a heat-transfer layer, provided on the support, comprising a thermo-fusible substance and a colorant; and a non-transfer layer which is interposed between the support and the transfer layer and comprises a colorant, a thermoplastic polymer selected from the following Group A and a thermoplastic polymer selected from the following Group B:Group A: an .alpha.-olefin polymer, an .alpha.-olefin-maleic anhydride copolymer, an .alpha.-olefin-alkyl acrylate and methacrylate copolymer, an .alpha.-olefin-vinyl acetate copolymer, an .alpha.-olefin-acrylic or methacrylic acid copolymer, a vinyl acetate polymer, an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate polymer, a acrylic or methacrylic acid polymer and a styrene-containing polymer;Group B: A polyester resin, a polyurethane resin, a polyvinyl chloride resin and an epoxy resin.

    摘要: A thermal transfer recording medium having a support and provided thereon, plural heat softening layers is disclosed. The thermal transfer recording medium comprses one of the following Constitutions (1) to (3);Constitution (1): a support, the first heat softening layer containing at least a colorant and a fusible material, and the second heat softening layer containing at least a thermoplastic resin and a nonionic surfactant, in this sequence, wherein said second heat softening layer is substantially colorless;Constitution (2): a support, the first heat softening layer containing at least a colorant and a fusible material, and the second heat softening layer containing at least a thermoplastic resin and a tackifier, in this sequence, wherein said second heat softening layer is substantially colorless;Constitution (3): a support, the first heat softening layer containing at least a fusible material, the second heat softening layer containing at least a colorant and a thermoplastic resin, and the third heat softening layer containing at least a fusible material, in this sequence, wherein said third heat softening layer is substantially colorless.
