    摘要: A network system connects with a number of individual processes that can mutually send and receive a broadcast message specified with no destination and a message specified with a specific process and that can change their states to parent or child processes. When a first process is a parent process and second through fourth processes are child processes, the four processes constitute a group, in which each of child processes stores the parent process, and the parent process stores each of child processes that store the parent process itself. When a new process that is in another group is connected to this group, the parent process exchanges a message with the new process for negotiation to determine either whether to be a parent process or to change to a child process.

    摘要: A swing cam to actuate engine valves is rotatably disposed about a drive shaft. A first eccentric cam is tightly disposed on the drive shaft. A ring-link is rotatably disposed on the first eccentric cam. A second eccentric cam is tightly disposed on a control shaft which rotates to a given angular position in accordance with an operation condition of an associated internal combustion engine. A rocker arm is rotatably disposed on the second eccentric cam. A rod-link extends between the rocker arm and the swing cam. A first connecting pin pivotally connects a first arm portion of the rocker arm with the ring-link. A second connecting pin pivotally connects a second arm portion of the rocker arm with an end of the rod-link. A third connecting pin pivotally connects the other end of the rod-link with the swing cam. The first connecting pin is fixed to either one of the first arm portion of the rocker arm and the ring-link.

    摘要: The resent invention provides a carbon fiber which enables a molded article produced from a fiber-reinforced composite material using the carbon fiber to exhibit excellent flexibility and to be freed from defects such as bending. According to the method of the present invention the carbon fiber is produced by a two-stage infusibilizing process, namely carrying out a first-stage infusibilization of a pitch-based fiber, which is obtained from mesophase pitch having a softening point of 200 to 400° C. and a true density of 1.30 to 1.38 g/cm3, in a mixed gas atmosphere having a nitrogen dioxide concentration of 1 to 5% by volume and an oxygen concentration of 5 to 50% by volume, the balance being an inert gas or steam, at a temperature between 100 and 200° C. and then carrying out a second-stage infusibilization of the product of the first-stage infusibilization in a mixed gas atmosphere having a nitrogen dioxide concentration of 0.1 to 5% by volume and an oxygen concentration of 5 to 40% by volume, the balance being an inert gas or a mixture of the inert gas and steam, at a temperature between 200 and 350° C.

The cam surface includes a first section providing a ramp section, a second section providing a positive acceleration section, and a third section providing a zero acceleration section that includes a situation where acceleration continuously vary within a predetermined infinitesimal window about zero.

    摘要: A variable valve actuation (VVA) apparatus comprises a supporting arm to support a pivot center of a rocker arm. The rocker arm operates a valve operating (VO) cam in response to operation of a drive cam on an engine driven drive shaft. The supporting arm is mounted for angular motion about an axis of rotation of the drive shaft to move the pivot center of the rocker arm along a circle about the drive shaft axis. The VO cam is mounted for pivot motion about the drive shaft axis. A supporting arm (SA) actuator is provided to position the pivot center of the rocker arm to any angular position to shift mode of operation of the VVA apparatus.
