摘要： According to an embodiment of the invention, degradation of carrier in a case is detected from the number of rotations of a developing roller. A predetermined quantity of carrier is replenished every time the developing roller reaches a predetermined number of rotations. An excess developer caused by an increase in bulk through carrier replenishment is discharged from a developer discharge port. The degraded old carrier in the case is replaced by new carrier little by little.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: a first image forming unit which forms a first image on a first recording medium with a first material which is not thermally decolorized; a second image forming unit which forms a second image on a second recording medium with a second material which is thermally decolorized; a fixing unit which is on a common carrying path shared by the first recording medium and the second recording medium and fixes the first image to the first recording medium; and a control unit which controls the fixing unit so that the temperature of the second recording medium passing through the fixing unit becomes lower than a decolorizing temperature of the second material.

The client apparatus (9) executes the applet to transmit to the public server section (77) an or the control instruction inquiry similar to those the programmable display apparatus (5) makes. In this way, the display is updated in accordance with a response. This realizes a control system, which allows a display content of the programmable display apparatus (5) to be remotely checked from a remote area remote from the programmable display apparatus (5), without newly generating a display screen.

摘要： In an image forming apparatus adopting a cleanerless process, there is provided a technique of preventing deterioration of picture quality due to photoreceptor filming or color mixture. An image forming apparatus of a cleanerless process in which a toner image is formed on an image bearing body by a developing unit, and a toner remaining on the image bearing body is collected by the developing unit, includes an intermediate transfer belt made of laminated layers of plural conductive materials different from each other and having a belt surface onto which the toner image is transferred from the image bearing body at a specified transfer position, and a transfer unit configured to press the intermediate transfer belt to the image bearing body at the specified transfer position and to apply a specified bias voltage to the intermediate transfer belt, wherein with respect to the plural conductive materials of the intermediate transfer belt, a layer closer to a side of either one of the toner transferred from the image bearing body and the transfer unit, where negative polarity is set, has a higher volume resistance value.
