    摘要： An image forming apparatus comprising: an endless belt that is wrapped around and so transported by a plurality of rollers; rotating members which are disposed adjacent to the endless belt such that an image is transferred onto a sheet while the sheet passes between the rotating members and the endless belt; pressing means that are disposed in a crosswise direction of the endless belt so as to be opposite to the rotating members with respect to the endless belt and press the endless belt against the rotating member in the vicinity of the position where the endless belt is in close proximity to the rotating member; and edge reinforcing means for increasing pressing forces of the pressing means that act on both edges of the endless belt in the crosswise direction thereof so as to become greater than a pressing force of the pressing means that acts on the center of the endless belt in the same direction.

    摘要： The disclosure is of a spin-cast reel wherein a spool is slidably and rotatably carried on an axial body extension. A rotary shaft carrying the rotor is coaxially mounted in the extension and a drag control knob is mounted at the back of the reel body, also on the axis of the rotary shaft. The drag control knob carries a nut that moves along a threaded rod which, in turn, forces the legs of a U-shaped member against a disc spring to apply a drag force against the side of the spool. Thus, the drag can be controlled from the rear of the reel and on the axis of the spool and rotor.

    摘要： Accurate and rapid folding of a sheet work is realized by a split die for holding the work in a folding machine or other similar machine, a method for the formation of the split die, and a work feeding apparatus for positional adjustment of the work for the sake of a folding operation, as contemplated by the present invention. The split die is composed of a pair of block dies adapted to be simultaneously moved in equal amounts away from or toward each other with respect to the center of the die of the folding machine and a multiplicity of segment dies to be inserted between the block dies. A die of a desired width for the folding operation is formed by moving the segment dies in the same direction in the same amount as one of the block dies and, at the same time, causing the key of an inverting shaft for selective extraction of segment dies to be moved in the same direction in the same amount as the other block die, and causing the segment dies falling within the overlapping regin to be thrown in between the block dies thereby apportioning the segment dies evenly on both sides of the center of the die of the folding machine.
