摘要: A method for producing a welded resin material contains steps of: superimposing a resin member having transmissibility to laser light and a resin member having absorptivity to laser light to form a contact part where the resin members are in contact with each other; forming a closed space that is adjacent to the contact part and faces one end of the contact part; and radiating the laser light from the resin member having transmissibility while pressing the resin members to each other through the contact part, so as to heat the contact part to melt a resin at the contact part, housing a resin excluded from the contact part through melting in the closed space, solidifying the resin melted at the contact part to weld the resin members.

摘要: In a surface light source device including: a light source section having a light emitting face; an optical panel arranged so as to cover the light emitting face; and a at least one frame having a front face portion that covers the peripheral portion of the light emitting face, the at least one frame is composed of a plurality of divisional members connected with each other and a light shielding portion is provided at each slit between the divisional members in the front face portion of the at least one frame. 摘要: A nozzle blockage preventing unit is disposed at one end of the travelling zone of a carriage so as to confront a nozzle unit mounted on the carriage when the carriage is held stationary at the end of the travelling zone. The nozzle blockage preventing unit includes a cam mechanism and a cam follower plate which moves toward the nozzle unit when the cam mechanism rotates. A capping rubber member is secured to the cam follower plate such that the capping rubber plate contacts the nozzle unit when the cam mechanism is rotated, thereby forming a closed chamber covering an orifice formed in the nozzle unit. A protection liquid is filled in the closed chamber in order to prevent the drying of the ink liquid contained in the nozzle unit when the ink jet system printer is placed in a non-operating condition for a considerably long period of time.

摘要: An ink jet system printer of the ink-on-demand type includes an ink liquid reservoir for supplying ink liquid to a printer head by means of the capillarity. An ink cartridge is removably mounted on the ink liquid reservoir in order to maintain the ink liquid level in the ink liquid reservoir at a desired level. An opening is formed in the ceiling wall of the ink liquid reservoir for ensuring smooth ink supply from the ink liquid reservoir to the printer head. A porous capping member is disposed in the opening to minimize the evaporation of the ink liquid. A thin gap is formed in the porous capping member so that the air disposed in the ink liquid reservoir communicates to the ambience.
