    摘要: A glass antenna provided on vehicle side glass has a power feeding portion disposed at side portion of the side glass, a main element connected to the power feeding portion and a square bracket-shaped element whose one end is connected to some midpoint of the main element. When frequency band of FM broadcast wave received by the antenna is divided into two frequency bands with respect to its center frequency, wavelength of center frequency of frequency band of low frequency is λ, and wavelength of center frequency of frequency band of high frequency. Also wavelength shortening coefficient of the side glass is α. In this condition, either one of length of the main element or length from the power feeding portion up to an opening end of the square bracket-shaped element is set to α·λ·¾, and the other is set to α·λ′·¾.

    摘要: An AV device is provided that can automatically perform OSD display setting of other AV devices at a time based on local ODS display setting even when a plurality of AV devices are connected. The AV device (depicted as TV 1) includes a connection means (depicted as an HDMI connector 21 and an HDMI connector 22) for making connection with external AV devices 3 and 4 capable of performing OSD display, an OSD processing portion 23 for performing OSD display on a display 17, and a system controller 20 for controlling the entire system. The OSD processing portion 23 generates ODS display setting data 23a from the display setting such as a character color and size in OSD display received from a user using a TV remote controller 2 or the like and stores it. The system controller 20 transmits the OSD display setting data 23a for the TV 1 stored here to the external AV devices 3 and 4 via the HDMI connectors 21 and 22.

    摘要: The present invention easily realizes synchronization between processor cores in a multicore system. A data processing system receiving a group of data of different kinds from the outside and performing data processes by kinds includes: a plurality of data process control units corresponding to the kinds of the data group and performing data processes on the data group of corresponding kinds; and a memory unit which can be accessed by the data process control units and has a first region storing a value indicating whether the data process by the data process control units can be executed or not. Each of the data process control units updates the value in the first region on completion of preparation for executing the data process of itself and, when the value in the first region becomes a predetermined value, synchronizes start timings of the data processes and executes the data processes.

    摘要: In a web winding apparatus for winding a web on a winding core, the winding core is rotated by a predetermined amount while an end portion of the web, which is held by a holding mechanism, is pressed against the winding core. Thereafter, the holding by the holding mechanism is released, and thereby the end portion of the web is attached to the winding core. Thereafter, the winding core is rotated, and the web is wound up on the winding core. A rotation speed of the winding core when the web is being pressed against the winding core is a higher speed than a rotation speed of the winding core at the time of attaching the web to the winding core. In this manner, the web is accurately wound on the winding core.
