    摘要: A printing mechanism assembly, including a platen, a carriage bearing a print head thereon, a ribbon cassette, and drive mechanisms for driving these members for printing operation, is mounted on a subframe to form a unit. Also, control means including a printed board for controlling the operations of the drive mechanisms, and power supply means for supplying electric power to the drive mechanisms through the control means are unitized independently. All of the resulting units are mounted on a main frame. The subframe, with the printing mechanism assembly thereon, is removably mounted on the rear half portion of the main frame; the control unit on the underside of the main frame, and the power supply unit in a notch formed at the front corner portion of the main frame. Power supply units of various specifications may be used alternatively which incorporate different transformers adapted for varied external supply voltage connected thereto.

A capsule type endoscope includes a plurality of image pickup elements for generating different image data and a storage unit for previously storing image pickup procedures of the image pickup elements, and records or transmits the different image data, captured in accordance with any of the procedures stored in the storage unit, in time series.     摘要: In a capsule 3 as a medical apparatus inserted into a body cavity, the lengthwise direction of the capsule 3 is used as an insert axis, a manipulation/input device 8, which is magnetized in a direction orthogonal to the insert axis, is disposed at the center position of the insert axis. A magnetic field generation device 4, which is disposed outside of a body, is caused to generate a vibration magnetic field in a direction parallel with the insert axis of the capsule 3 by turning on a vibration (ON/OFF) switch 8f of a manipulation/input device 8 so that couples having lines of action, which are in parallel with the insert axis, are exerted on the capsule 3, thereby the capsule 3 executes a swiveling motion about the insert axis and smoothly travels along a cavity organ.

    摘要: A printer includes improved paper feeding mechanism. A manual paper guide plate below an automatic paper feeding device can guide a thick piece of paper into a printing position on the platen without bending it hard around the platen. A pin tractor below the manual paper guide plate can feed a continuous web substantially straight into the printing position. A print head below the platen prints out on the lower surface of printing paper, whereby the printed individual cut sheets of paper being piled up one after another with the printed surface facing downward in a proper page order. A paper tray for holding the printed paper can alternatively change its position to reverse the discharge direction of the printed continuous web. The printed and reversed paper can be stacked on the upper surface of the manual paper guide plate.

    摘要: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus including an ultrasonic vibrating element, a rotator for rotating the ultrasonic vibrating element, an illuminating window and an observing window arranged in a side wall of an inserting portion. The apparatus is so arranged that the center axis of the inserting portion is deviated from that of the rotator with respect to the radial direction but the center of curvature of a cover window surrounding the rotator is coincident with the center axis of the rotator. Therefore, a uniform resolving power can be obtained in all directions into which the ultrasonic wave is transmitted. Then an ultrasonic image without undesired artificates is displayed on a screen of a monitor and the outer diameter of the inserting portion can be made small.

    摘要: An endoscope comprises an elongated inserting section having an illumination window and an observation window at a distal end portion thereof, an imaging device for forming an optical image of an object upon receiving light reflected from the object radiated through the observation window, and an ultrasonic probe disposed at the distal end portion of the inserting section and adapted to obtain an ultrasonic image of the object.
