摘要： An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording material includes a cartridge supporting member carrying a first cartridge and a second cartridge. The cartridge supporting member includes a first guide portion for guiding mounting and demounting of the first cartridge relative to a first mounting portion, and a second guide portion for guiding mounting and demounting of the second cartridge relative to a second mounting portion. When the second cartridge is dismounted from the second mounting portion, the second cartridge moves in a downstream direction with respect to a drawing direction, and wherein a distance of movement, in the downstream direction, of the second cartridge along the second guide portion from the second mounting portion until the second cartridge is dismounted is greater than a distance of movement, in the downstream direction, of the first cartridge along the first guide portion from the first mounting portion until the first cartridge is dismounted.

摘要： An electrophotographic image forming apparatus, in which a drawer supporting a cartridge is mounted in an apparatus main body, and an impact when a drawer is mounted into the apparatus main body may be suppressed to prevent a developer from scattering within a developer container. The drawer supporting the cartridge is movable between an inside position in the apparatus main body and a pullout position at which the cartridge is mounted and removed. On a forward side of the inside position, a force giving portion for giving a force to the drawer in a direction opposite to a mounting direction is provided. The force giving portion gives the force gradually to the drawer along with movement of the drawer in the mounting direction. With this structure, it is possible to suppress the scattering of the developer in the cartridge caused by the impact on mounting.

摘要： A liquid crystal display includes: a light source section; a liquid crystal display panel including pixels each configured of sub-pixels of three colors red (R), green (G) and blue (B) and a sub-pixel of a color (Z) with higher luminance than the three colors; and a display control section including an output signal generation section performing a display drive on the sub-pixels of R, G, B and Z with use of the output picture signals. A chromaticity point of the emission light from the light source section is set to a position deviated from a white chromaticity point. In the case where the input picture signals are picture signals indicating white (W), the output signal generation section performs a chromaticity point adjustment to adjust, to the white chromaticity point, a chromaticity point of display light emitted from the liquid crystal display panel based on the emission light.

摘要： An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording material includes a cartridge accommodating a developer for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive member, a supporter detachably mounting the cartridge, and a preventor. The supporter moves between an inside position where the cartridge forms an image inside a main assembly of the apparatus and an outside position where the cartridge is mounted and demounted outside the main assembly. The preventor moves between a first position in which it prevents, when the cartridge is not mounted, movement of the supporter from the outside position to the inside position by contacting a portion thereof, and a second position, retracted from the first position, in which the it permits, when the cartridge is mounted, the movement of the supporter from the outside position to the inside position.

摘要： An electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum and a developing cartridge. The developing cartridge is detachably mountable to a main assembly of the apparatus. A cartridge supporting member is movable, while detachably mounting the developing cartridge, between an inside position that is inside of the main assembly of the apparatus to mount the developing cartridge to the main assembly of the apparatus, and an outside position that is outside of the main assembly of the apparatus to remove the developing cartridge from the main assembly of the apparatus. When the cartridge supporting member detachably supports a plurality of such developing cartridges, and when the cartridge supporting member is moved from the outside position to the inside position, force receiving portions of the developing cartridges are contacted to force applying portions of the apparatus at different points of time.
