    摘要: An internal intermediate pressure type two-stage compression rotary compressor (10) is provided with an electrically driven element (14) disposed within a sealed vessel (12), and first and second rotary compression elements (32, 34) driven by the electrically driven element (14), and is structured such as to discharge CO2 refrigerant gas compressed at a first stage by the first rotary compression element (32) within the sealed vessel (12) and compress the discharged refrigerant gas having an intermediate pressure at a second stage by the second rotary compression element (34) via an accumulator (106). The rotary compression elements (32, 34) include upper and lower cylinders (38, 40), upper and lower rollers (46, 48) eccentrically rotating within the cylinder and upper and lower vanes (50, 52) brought into contact with the rollers so as to section the inner portions of the upper and lower cylinders into high pressure chambers and low pressure chambers. A ratio of volume between the upper and lower cylinders (38, 40) executing the compression operation at the first stage and the second stage is set to 1:0.65 so that an equilibrium pressure becomes equal to an intermediate pressure. Since a pressure change at a time of starting is reduced, an oil foaming is restricted and it, is possible to easily employ a withstand pressure design of a sealed vessel, it is possible to easily design a withstand pressure vessel and it is possible to reduce a weight of the pressure vessel.

The first and the second compressor (32, 34) have respective first and second cylinders (40, 42) accommodating first and second rollers (48, 50), fitted on respective first and second eccentric cams (44, 46).     摘要: Refrigerant exiting a condenser (1) is diverted into first and second parts, with the first part passed to a first intercooler (6) via a first decompression means (3) while the second part is passed to an evaporator (8) via a second decompression means (7). The refrigerant passed to the second decompression means (7) undergoes heat exchange with the intercooler (6). The refrigerant discharged from the evaporator (8) is fed to a first stage low-pressure compression means (32). In the multi-stage compression apparatus, the refrigerant discharged-from the low-pressure compression means (32) is mixed or merged with the refrigerant exiting the intercooler (6) at a merging point (106), and then fed to a second stage high-pressure compression means (34). The displacement volume of the low-pressure compression means (32) is larger than that of the high-pressure compression means(34). Provided between the first intercooler (6) and the merging point (106) is a one-way valve (9) for permitting the flow only in the direction from the first intercooler (6) to the merging point (106). The inventive multi-stage compression refrigeration apparatus may perform refrigeration with suppressed temperature of refrigerant gas discharged from the high pressure compression means (34). The apparatus can attain its stable normal operating condition in a short time. Thus, the inventive refrigeration apparatus has an improved refrigeration efficiency.

The apparatus further comprises a second intercooler (5) downstream of the evaporator (8) so that the second diverted part of the refrigerant may undergo heat exchange in the intercooler (5) prior to entering the evaporator. The inventive apparatus thus may perform refrigeration with an improved efficiency during an early stage of its startup.
