    摘要: Systems and methods for overlaying virtual objects in a virtual environment based on user interest and user interactions are disclosed. The methods analyze a live view of a surface viewed through camera or a transparent lens and determine if the policies of the surface allow overlaying of virtual objects. The method fetches a virtual object and calculates a score based on user interest, user gaze, and user engagement. Virtual objects that meet the policies of the surface and a scoring criterion are overlayed on the surface in the virtual environment and enhanced based on a plurality of enhancement factors. Virtual objects are also overlayed in frames of a live broadcast based on their scores. Virtual objects displayed on a conference call interface, which may be meeting tools or icons associated with other conferencing functionality, are enhanced, or removed from the user interface based on their utilization.

At least two storylines may be identified, each storyline specifying an order of providing a plurality of episodes from a plurality of interrelated series. Identifiers of the plurality of episodes are displayed. Then identifiers of a first set of the plurality of episodes that are relevant to the first storyline are graphically modified to indicate relevance to the first storyline. Identifiers of a second set of the plurality of episodes that are relevant to the second storyline are also graphically modified to indicate relevance to the second storyline. A first and second storyline identifier are generating for display to enable storyline selection. The interrelated series are then provided to a user device in the order specified by the selected storyline.

    摘要: A sidelink connection is created between each device of a plurality of devices. A first device connected to a content source retrieves a manifest file for the media from the content source. The first device then notifies other devices, including a second device not connected to the content source, that the manifest file is available from the first device. Based on connection metrics of each device, it is determined which of the devices has the highest quality connection to the content source. If, for example, the first device is determined to have the highest quality connection, then the first devices retrieves a segment of the media from the content source, stores the segment in a cache of the first device, and delivers the segment to other devices in response to requests for the segment received from each device.

    摘要: Systems and methods for simultaneously being present in multiple extended reality (XR) apps running on the same XR device are disclosed. The methods concurrently run multiple XR apps on the user's XR device and use an avatar to represent the user's presence in each app. The methods determine whether the user is actively present in a first app or a second app. When the user is not actively present in a first app, activity in the first app is monitored, the avatar is configured to provide auto-responses based on AI, ML, or preprogrammed responses for relevant queries to simulate the user's presence. Notifications and summary of the activities in the first app are provided to the user while they are actively present in the second app. Instead of rendering the first app, back-end simulations of the activities in the first app are processed and made available when rendering is resumed.
