摘要： A volumetric metering system for metering a product in an agricultural machine is presented. In one example, the volumetric metering system comprises a roller element, a drive mechanism configured to rotationally drive the roller element to convey the product along a conveyance path to a product receiving component, and a guide element disposed on a side of the roller element. The guide element is configured to guide the product along the conveyance path, and is biased towards the roller element.

摘要： A metering wheel includes a shaft having a longitudinal axis, a plurality of first wheel sections, and a plurality of second wheel sections. Each first wheel section has a fluted exterior surface and is rotatably coupled to the shaft. Each second wheel section has a cylindrical exterior surface and is co-axial with the shaft and rotatable independently of the shaft. In another aspect, at least one of the plurality of first wheel sections has a plurality of protrusions on the exterior surface defining a plurality of valleys therebetween, wherein at least one protrusion does not extend an axial length of the first section. In yet another aspect, a metering assembly comprises a metering wheel and a chute divider. The chute divider comprises a wall positioned proximate a longitudinal mid-point of one of the plurality of first sections or one of the plurality of second sections.

The seed meter assembly has a metering member mounted for rotation about a meter axis and driven to rotate in a direction of travel, the metering member having an inner surface configured to receive seeds and an outer surface and apertures passing through the metering member between the inner surface and the outer surface at a radial distance from the meter axis. 摘要： A particulate material delivery system is provided that allows for variable rate sectional control while delivering particulate material to an agricultural field. The system may include an air cart and a drill that are towable behind a tractor and that includes a metering system receiving product from the air cart and delivering the product to the drill for distribution to the ground, such as an agricultural field. The metering system includes multiple metering units that receive separate portions of the product from the air cart. Multiple prime movers drive the multiple metering units. A controller is connected to and individually controls the multiple prime movers such that distribution rates of the multiple metering units can be varied independently of each other.

摘要： A metering apparatus for distributing an agricultural product in a field has a meterbox configured for association with a hopper for receiving agricultural product from the hopper. A rotatable metering element is disposed within a chamber in the meterbox, and the rotating metering element is configured to deliver the agricultural product at a regulated rate from the hopper through the chamber to a product distribution line. Delivery of the agricultural product to the product distribution line may be selectively stopped by a reversibly inflatable seal between the metering element and an outlet to the distribution line, a reversible seal formed by contact between the metering element and an inlet from the hopper to the chamber, or a disengagement structure for disengaging the agricultural product from the metering element while the metering element continues to rotate.
