A toolbar transport system for extending and retracting a large agricultural toolbar. Forward and rearward folding segments of the toolbar allow the toolbar assembly to retract against the sides of the vehicle without interfering with the steering wheels. A forward-folding segment and rearward-folding segment of each lateral toolbar section connect to provide steering wheel clearance in the transfer position and an integrated lateral toolbar with regularly-spaced ground-engaging implements in the application position. Gauge wheel assemblies assist in the extension and deployment of the toolbar assembly.

A radiation detector is provided having an anode wire formed of an amorphous metal alloy. In one embodiment the radiation detector comprises a cathode assembly. The cathode assembly includes a main portion, a first end and a second end, where the first end opposes the second end. The cathode assembly also includes a radiation interacting material. An anode extends within the cathode assembly from the first end to the second end, and the anode is comprised of an amorphous metal alloy.

A method and apparatus for an interactive video game to be displayed on a video display device. The gaming apparatus includes a game controller adapted to control the outcome of a game played on the gaming machine for display on the display device. A player interface is coupled to the gaming apparatus and is configured to input information data personally identifying a player operating the gaming machine. This personal identification data, such as a players name, birthdate, digitized facial pictures of player, etc., is then integrated into the game for integral display in the game outcome on the display device. Thus, player interaction is increased by customizing the game screen presentation to include their personal information.

A power turbine rotor drive shaft has a flanged end connected to a turbine rotor disc supported by a rotor bearing housing so as to be rotatably supported by a turbine rotor bearing assembly at one end of the shaft and including a second splined end thereon coupled to a shaft extension supported at one portion thereof by a roller bearing shaft assembly and wherein the shaft has a predetermined fundamental bending vibration mode between the rotor bearing assembly and the shaft bearing assembly and wherein an insert sleeve is shrunk-fit within an inside diameter of the shaft to stiffen the shaft so as to increase the fundamental bending vibration mode of the resultant composite shaft without excessively increasing the weight of the composite shaft.

A system for planting cover crop seeds in fields with standing row crops. A high-clearance agricultural vehicle is provided with a high-clearance toolbar. A plurality of ground-engaging arm assemblies depend from the toolbar. The toolbar is provided with a plurality of seeders that may be provided on the arm assemblies. The arm assemblies are provided with trailing portions to which are attached soil sealers. The system travels through the field, delivering seeds between rows of standing crops. The soil sealers cover the seeds with soil.
