摘要: An apparatus for delivering seed to a planting surface, having: a seed meter having a housing with a guide pocket; a seed conveyor disposed to receive the seed from the seed meter at an upper end of the seed conveyor, the seed conveyor having a belt which conveys the seed from the upper end to a lower end of the seed conveyor, and wherein the conveyed seed is released from the seed conveyor with a rearward velocity relative to a forward direction of travel of the seed conveyor; a conveyor motor disposed to drive the seed conveyor, wherein the conveyor motor has a housing having a guide boss; wherein the guide boss engages with the guide pocket.

摘要: An agricultural metering system includes independently controllable sets of meter rollers. Each set of meter rollers includes at least one meter roller and is configured to rotate about a respective rotational axis, and the rotational axes are generally parallel to one another and not aligned with one another. The agricultural metering system also includes meter boxes configured to receive agricultural product from a compartment of a storage tank. Each set of meter rollers is disposed within a respective meter box, and each set of meter rollers is configured to meter the agricultural product from the compartment of the storage tank. The agricultural metering system also includes distribution lines. Each distribution line is disposed downstream from a respective set of meter rollers and is configured to receive the agricultural product output from the respective set of meter rollers.

One system for distributing an agricultural product includes a metering system configured to meter the agricultural product from a storage tank into a conduit. The system includes an air conveyance system to provide an air stream for moving metered agricultural product in the conduit toward a distribution device. The air conveyance system comprises one or more sensors to monitor the product status and/or the air stream inside the conduit. The system also includes control circuitry configured to control air flow rate based on the product status and/or the air stream inside the conduit and/or the geographic location of the system.

摘要: A conveyor apparatus includes a conveyor sloping upward from a lower conveyor intake to an upper conveyor discharge and with a downspout extending down from the conveyor discharge. Wheels support the conveyor for movement along the ground, and a downspout control is operative to remotely move a bottom end of the downspout radially with respect to the conveyor discharge. A method is provided as well for using the conveyor to conveniently transfer a first agricultural product from a first transport vehicle to a first tank on the air seeder cart, and for transferring a second agricultural product from a second transport vehicle to a second tank.

摘要: In one embodiment, a pneumatic distribution system configured to distribute a granular product to an agricultural implement includes a first pressure sensor, a second pressure sensor, and a controller. The first pressure sensor is configured to be fluidly coupled to a storage tank configured to store the granular product and positioned upstream of the meter roller. The first pressure sensor is configured to output a first signal indicative of a first static pressure in the storage tank. The second pressure sensor is configured to be fluidly coupled to a component of the pneumatic distribution system, downstream of the meter roller. The second pressure sensor is configured to output a second signal indicative of a second static pressure downstream of the meter roller. The controller is communicatively coupled to the first pressure sensor and to the second pressure sensor. The controller is configured to determine a pressure differential, wherein the pressure differential is the difference between the first static pressure and the second static pressure. The controller may also be configured to generate a first warning when the first static pressure is below a threshold value and output the first warning to an operator interface, generate a second warning when the pressure differential is below a desired range and output the second warning to the operator interface, and generate a third warning when the pressure differential is above the desired range and output the third warning to the operator interface.

摘要: An engine is operated to produce exhaust emissions containing carbon nano soot therein which are injected into a solubilizing tank containing nitic acid and carbonic acid in a water solution for solubilizing the carbon nano soot as carbon nano tubes. A gas flow exiting the tank is captured such that some water and some solubilized carbon nano tubes are carried with the gas flow for subsequent delivery to a plant growing medium, either directly or by storing the water and solubilized carbon nano tubes carried with the gas flow in a tank for subsequent application. The solubilizing tank may be supported on agricultural seeding implements or sprayer implements for direct application to crop covered ground. In an irrigation system, the gas flow from the solubilizing tank is directed towards a condensing tank for subsequent application of the condensate to a plant growing medium with irrigation water.

The controller is configured to instruct the first and second motors to drive the first and second product meters at the first and second metering rates, respectively, based on the first and second inputs, and to instruct the air source to provide the first and second airflows with first and second dynamic pressures or first and second velocities.
