Abstract:
An electronic cigarette tubes individualiser apparatus individualises tubes received from a first track without spacing and provides the tubes to a second track with a spacing. The apparatus includes a rotary carrousel configured to rotate about a rotation axis and provided with a guide extending with the longitudinal axis partially along a line substantially intersecting the rotation axis; a stationary cam track extending around the rotation axis; a carriage mounted to the carrousel for traveling in a reciprocating movement along the guide driven by a cam follower following the cam track while the carousel is rotating; and a receiver connected to the carriage for receiving the tube from the first track close to the rotation axis and delivering the tube to the second track further away from the rotation axis with a pitch.
Abstract:
Device for transferring cylindrical segments from a hopper onto a grouping belt is provided with a guiding drum, having flutes on its periphery and a circumferentially closed conveyor which delivers segments to a rotary element with pushers. Conveyor with seats with a catching element for catching segments, and transferring the segments from the conveyor to the element is effected by means of a spiral drum. The device has a push-down element constituted by a cam with a groove of a height corresponding to the diameter of the segment. The catching element has the form of a depression in the body of the seat shaped as a half of a cylinder, corresponding to the diameter of the segment, with locks on edges, whereas the axis of the depression is perpendicular to the direction of motion of the conveyor.
Abstract:
Docking station (1) with a clearing device for a channel (4) for the mass flow of rod-shaped articles (5) used in the tobacco industry, provided with storage means (2) containing the clearing device (3) wherein the storage means are adapted in such a way that they are led in into the channel in response to a signal of presence of the end face of mass flow at the place at which the clearing device is led in or out; moving means (14) for inserting the clearing device into the channel after the storage means have been led in into the channel; furthermore, the storage means are adapted in such a way that they are led out of the installation channel in response to the signal of presence of the end face of the cleaning device in the channel.

Abstract:
A system for transporting and storing rod shaped articles, including a loading station, the loading station including an inlet aperture, an outlet aperture, a rotor rotatably disposed within the loading station, and a buffer container. The system also including an unloading station, the unloading station including an inlet aperture, a transfer conduit, a rotor rotatably disposed within the unloading station, and a buffer container. The system further including a mobile container selectively coupleable to the loading station and the unloading station, and further including an inlet/outlet aperture defined in a wall thereof and a plurality of translatable magazines disposed within the mobile container.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for separating objects from a quantity of objects located in a receptacle. In order to keep the constructional and technical effort of said device low while allowing for great tolerance regarding the dimensions or diameters of the objects, a pivotable flap is provided at the outlet of the receptacle for releasing an object that is to be separated while an element for retaining the remaining objects in the receptacle is provided above the flap in the direction of movement of the objects.
Abstract:
A method and device for forming a stack of n packets, whereby the packets, fed successively in a substantially horizontal direction to an input of a substantially vertical conveyor channel, are stacked by being lifted, along the conveyor channel, by an n-start screw push device rotating about an axis substantially parallel to the conveyor channel; the stack so formed is extracted from an output of the conveyor channel, in a radial output direction with respect to the axis of the screw push device, by a comb extractor movable along an annular path extending through the conveyor channel.
Abstract:
A chain conveyor having an endless conveyor belt, which is formed by joining a number of hinged links and has a conveying surface; and at least one pulley, which rotates about an axis of rotation, and about which the conveyor belt winds on-edge, with a lateral surface of the conveyor belt perpendicular to the conveying surface and contacting a lateral surface of the pulley; the lateral surface of the pulley is shaped so that contact between the lateral surface of the pulley and the lateral surface of the conveyor belt occurs at a contact point substantially aligned with a line of action of the pull forces of the conveyor belt.
