    摘要: A locating pin assembly for coupling a first modular frame to a second modular frame is disclosed. The locating pin assembly has a first gusset plate positioned between the first modular frame and the second modular frame. The first gusset plate has a first gusset plate aperture and a second gusset plate aperture for receiving fastening means for coupling the first-modular-frame-first-beam and the second-modular-frame-first-beam the gusset plate. The pin assembly also has a pin engaging the first gusset plate, the first modular frame and the second modular frame. Also disclosed are modular frame units having the pin assembly, system of modular frame units having the pin assembly and a method of coupling modular frame units.

    摘要: A thermally broken framing system and method of use are disclosed. The thermal framing system is comprised generally of a structural apparatus, exterior retention framing and a fastener system comprised of thermal spacer material, and structural fasteners. A structural component, such as a T-shaped member with a structural tab may lie flatly against a wall while providing a thermal break. The structural tab is further comprised of apertures located at regular intervals. The exterior retention framing is comprised generally of a retention face represented as and two framing tabs attached to a retention face. The framing tabs have framing tab apertures placed at regular intervals from each other to match the spacing of the structural tab apertures. The structural tab apertures and framing tab apertures are aligned and thermally insulated fastening ants placed through the apertures, securing the system.

    摘要: An orthogonal framework for the fabrication of modular buildings includes a plurality of hub members formed to fit in the ends of vertical hollow post members including base hubs for securing the lower end of a hollow post to a foundation and/or base beams or shear panels, terminal hubs for securing the top ends of a post upper beam members and/or the upper ends of shear panels, and intermediate tubes for securing the ends of two vertically aligned posts together and/or to support beams for the building. The hubs are hollow and have press nuts mounted on their inner surfaces to allow the terminals to be bolted to the posts, beams and shear panels in a large variety of beam and post combinations to form modular buildings in various configurations.
