摘要： An icemaker assembly for a refrigerator includes a support bracket having at least one support arm and a rear panel section, a bin slidably attached to the at least one support arm, an icemaker unit having an ice mold is also supported by the at least one support arm within the freezer compartment. The icemaker assembly also includes a fan mounted to the rear panel portion of the support bracket. The fan is selectively operable to direct an airflow onto the icemaker unit in order to speed ice production. Operation of the fan is tied to activation of a water inlet valve. A controller is coupled to the fan and the water inlet valve such that once the water inlet valve opens, fresh water enters the ice mold and the control activates the fan to hasten the production of ice.

The main body has a reservoir with a water inlet, a containing chamber, a water tube connected with the water entry and having water injecting hole, a pump connected with the water tube and a water passageway formed between the containing chamber and the reservoir. The water chamber is pivotally connected in the containing chamber, having a pushing board connected pivotally at the front side. The icing device is installed at the top of the water chamber, having plural icing bars extended into the water chamber. Then the pump sends water in the water chamber, and the icing device freezes the water around the icing bars, with water kept pumped into the water chamber till ice blocks are made, so as to obtain a clear and bright ice blocks.

There is at least one cabinet door arranged to move relative to the cabinet to selectively open and close the open side. At least one component is located in the cabinet door requiring information to be transmitted between the cabinet and the door. A first mating hub is located on one of the surrounding walls of the refrigeration compartment. A second mating hub is carried on the cabinet door, such that when the cabinet door is moved into a closed position relative to the cabinet, the first and second mating hubs will be arranged in alignment. The hubs have terminal connections for transmitting information from one hub to the other when aligned.

An outlet line of the fluid container is divided into a main outlet line and an auxiliary outlet line, in which the main outlet line and the auxiliary outlet line are equipped with a main switching button and the auxiliary switching button, respectively, which are operated in response to an output signal of a flow rate measuring device. The discharge amount of the fluid can be constantly maintained by selecting either of the main outlet line and the auxiliary outline provided in the fluid container of the refrigerator, irrespective of the pressure in the fluid supply system, thereby improving its use convenience and solving the inconvenience of overflowing and delay.

A water supply tube is provided in the door to pass through a lower hinge and extend through the door so that water can be supplied to a filter in a filter chamber defined within the door. The water purified in the filter is supplied through a valve to the ice maker and dispenser. The filter chamber is configured to be opened and closed by a service door so that a user can more easily exchange the filter. The service door is provided in front of the door. Since the ice maker, the dispenser and the related components are integrated within the door, the storage space defined by the main body of the refrigerator can be further increased. In addition, a function of the refrigerator can also be improved by merely exchanging the door rather than the whole refrigerator.

These cams have respective enabling and control profiles engaged operatively by the same feeler that cooperates with an electric switch in such a way as to define, in the operating cycle of the device, at least one time interval of predetermined duration for the opening of said water feed solenoid valve.

摘要： An apparatus and method for delivering bottled water to a remote appliance such as a kitchen faucet, refrigerator, coffee maker or beverage dispenser is comprised of a reservoir having means for supporting an inverted water bottle there above, a conduit disposed between the reservoir and a water inlet of the appliance, and a pump along the length of the conduit for injecting purified water under pressure from the reservoir into the appliance. A low liquid level switch is employed for detecting low water level in the reservoir, and a pressure switch is used for turning the pump on and off. A check valve may also be introduced between the pump and the appliance to prevent backflow of water into the reservoir. An alternate embodiment of the system employs bottle support means designed to hold two bottles simultaneously and permit evacuation of their contents into the reservoir in sequence.

摘要： An ice making apparatus is provided in which a refrigeration cycle is used to produce ice inside an evaporator that is generally horizontally disposed, with a hollow auger being provided with a helical flight thereon, for scraping ice from the inner wall of the evaporator and pushing the ice toward one end of the auger, by which it is compressed and moved by a paddle toward a flange, in which it is delivered to an ice breakup device, by which the ice is diverted into a compression zone, with water being squeezed from the ice and the ice delivered to a transport tube and then to an ice retainer. Filling the retainer or jamming of ice nuggets inside the transport will effect a shut-down of the apparatus. Various water level controls for a water reservoir are provided, whereby the auger is flooded inside and outside, for enhancing ice formation. Nugget-type ice is provided by the ice making apparatus. The apparatus allows for changing the nugget size/shape without negative ice hardness consequences.
